dont change the controls

Tanzen is a worthy app. to have, the developers seem to listen to reviewers because their saying in the next update they are going to implement "one touch rotation" into the controls. I hope they dont mess it up because I find the original controls to be very well done. Touch a shape, the wheel appears, touch anywhere within the wheel and drag your finger around to move the slected shape. To rotate a shape touch one to bring up the wheel, you can then touch and hold your finger anywhere outside the wheel (it dosent matter where, ignore the tutorial), then use another finger to slide around the wheel to reotate it. The controls are fine, unless they do a bang-up job revising the controls I think they need to stay the way they are, or maybe include multiple control schemes for different tastes.

Good update...

I like the one touch rotate feature. Would be nice if next update included a grid that the pieces snap into.

Fantastic

Tanzen is a great application. It is the first program I have ever purchased where my decision was made from a trial/lite version being great. The latest update is nice, especially the one finger turning, however I believe the author forgot to change the version code of the app as it still shows 1.0 on the appstore, and even after I updated it continually shows an update being available.

Let's Just Say It's 4am And I Can't Put This Game Down...

So far, I haven't found many inexpensive iPhone applications that keep me truly intrigued. But this one's got me refusing to put it down! At first, this game appeared very basic with only a few puzzles - then I noticed the 12 pages of 9 puzzles per page, so don't expect to finish the whole set of puzzles in only a few minutes. The spin control of each puzzle piece is a bit difficult to get used to, but in order to not overspin each piece into its fitting position, it is understandable. After a few puzzles, you get accustomed to the amount of finger pressure needed to spin each piece. It features the challenge that you cannot overlap any pieces or the puzzle won't be solved. And just when you think you have figured out the proper location of each piece...you've gotta move them all out and try for another combination! INCREDIBLE entertainment and thought provoking challenges for the small price paid. Although the idea is to achieve "Zen" with this non-chaotic game, in the future, an update with an optional timer would add a nice extra challenge. (If there already is a timer, I haven't figured out how to access the settings. And I have not completed all puzzles so I am not sure if they are reset to create fresh solutions on the next go-around.)

Great game.

I bought this game yesterday and can thoroughly recommend it. I'm looking forward to the forthcoming free update which will address my two main issues with it though, which will be to add more puzzles and to implement a single-finger rotation method. Once those two issues are addressed, then this game will be perfect. In anticipation of that, I'm giving it 5 stars. In the meantime though, for those having trouble rotating the pieces, if you visit the developer's support page (linked from here in iTunes) you'll see a video demonstrating a MUCH easier way to rotate the pieces: instead of the tricky "two thumbs on the circle" method (like a mini-steering wheel), put one finger ANYWHERE on the screen, and then your other finger on the circle to rotate freely and easily.

Nice App, too easy:

This is a very slick iPhone app with a great interface. My biggest gripe: filling in the outlined "goal-shapes" is way too easy. If this app had a "Hard Mode" where you were given a thumbnail of the goal (which could be enlarged and reduced by a tap), and could arrange the pieces over a blank, pretty sand background it would be more of a challenge. Although there are a hundred or so puzzles, because the outline is given to you full-size and it's easy to see where shapes fit or don't, maybe only one out of ten puzzles will make you think twice, the vast majority you can just put together piece by piece with no hesitation. Which is a shame, because a lot of these shapes *would* be very challenging if %80 of the thinking hadn't been done for you...

By far my favourite Game App

I just loved it! I'm looking forward to more and more puzzles and the one finger rotation. Just please add more difficult puzzles - the ones that are available right now don't take more than 3-5 minutes to solve. I really would like to play with the ones that take about 20-30 minutes to solve :DDD. Great Job!!!

Looks promising

I loved the free lite version and have upgraded now to the full version. It's really addictive and fun I must say!

But I would like it if it was updated regularly adding more and more puzzles with them being bigger and bigger - really pushing the player! I want more! More puzzles in the updates and more challanging ones! Otherwise- top app- shows more promise!

better than you would think

some of the puzzles are actualy kinda hard and its an all around good game and a good time killer(oh and that review by wolfgan looks a little set up);)

Interesting and fun

Nice game with a clean and intuitive interface, many different levels of difficulty (some quite challenging!) and a little tuturial to explain controls (although very easy.)
