Yes, there is a bug!
After the latest IOS upgrade, tapping on some items on the number pad causes the app to shut down. I’ve been using this (sudoku Joy) app for years, it would be great if the author would fix this. Thanks….No-more-Joy

Broken After Update
This app was my go-to time waster, until I updated my phone to iOS 16. After that it wouldn’t let me access settings or finish a game without crashing. I’ll just delete it and reload it, I thought. Mistake. At least before I could play a game and get to the main menu. Now when I open the app the same game loads and settings can’t be accessed at all. From what I read in the reviews the developer has washed his hands of the app and isn’t responding to messages, who knows what’s going on in his life at this time? So I guess it’s time to look for a different sudoku app, this one was great while it worked, def 5 stars before.Show lessBizzyBeeColorado

Have used this app for a good few years and it’s been great but since last OS update it doesn’t work properly. You finish a puzzle and the app shuts down on its own without saving your completed puzzle. Please fix this soon otherwise I shall have to start using another sudoku app!lsmcc7878

I wrote support twice from the app and have never heard back. I loved this app and used it for many years but recently there is a bug. When I complete a game that I started earlier the app shuts down. When I reopen the game goes back to the play I left and when complete it again it shuts down. If I go to the main menu and try to go to a new game it shuts down. Now key clicks have been turned on and if I go to setting the app shuts down. The key clicks are very loud and annoying. I’m going to have to delete this app if I can’t get this fixedShow lesssparph
Best interface
I love this game over all other sudoku games because I can click on number then click to put it in the desired box. I hate having to click the box then press in the number I want to place in it.

Not working correctly since iPhone update
This is a great program, but a lot of its functions don’t work since I updated to iOS 16. The main problem is that when you tap on settings, the app shuts off. Multiple other user functions shut it down. You can still choose game levels and it’s still playable.jkhgdawtu

Absolutely brilliant app for playing Sudoku. I’ve used it many times a day for several years.
I have recently started playing Killer Sudoku and it would be great to have a Killer version of this app. All the other versions appear to be rubbish.DaveofTruro
Best app to learn sudoku strategies without intrusive ads
There are small banner ads, but they have been very unobtrusive so far. This is a simple setup, not flashy, but with lots of options to set it up the way you want it. I love all of the tutorials that help you learn the different methods and strategies for solving. This would be a great one for kids, but also challenging for adults. I’ve tried several sudoku apps, and this one is definitely my favorite.Show less39yowf
Best Sudoko App
This is easily the best Sudoko app I’ve found. And no charge.
One suggestion. The ‘better time than’ feature is ambiguous. Let’s say I get “time is faster than 7% of scores…” Does this mean only 7% finished faster than me? Or does it mean 93% finished faster than me? You should fix that. FredReitFAReit
