Happy Customer!
I spent quite awhile trying to pick which time tracking app to purchase. My needs, clients, multiple projects per client, and the ability to manually enter time (stop watch is nice, but usually not practical in real world situations). While the $20 price tag had me looking closely at the other options, most of the other (cheaper) options did not allow for manual entry (and often other issues.) so, I bit the bullet and spent a twenty.
I am very happy. The application is intuitive and easy to use. I quickly added my clients and projects and had the opportunity to add time manually as well as one stop via stop watch. In both cases the software worked flawlessly and allowed me to enter a note as to what I was doing. I will not be using the CSV (or tab delimited) export, but the on screen report that shows total time, billed time, and unbilled time will work great for me. (When I bill, I'll just check off "billed" on the entries.
Worth the $20 ... because it works and because it makes my iPhone so much more valuable.

Does just about everything
This app is quick and easy to interface with for keeping track of tasks and projects. I wish it would do a total hours (i.e. how many i worked) instead of only totaling by project or client. Otherwise, the export and the stopwatch features make this an excellent pocket sized time tracker
Excellent Software
Really good software - allows me to quickly and easily log time against various projects and clients. Export option works well also. Website states that the developers are working on a way to sync data back to InerTrak desktop software (much like OmniFocus or Evernote - allowing for seamless integration between mac/PC and iPhone) which, coupled with the option to log time against multiple projects at the same time, would make this a 5-star product and an ideal time management solution.

To last reviewer- tap on the project name, tap on the edit button in the right corner, adjust time with the wheel.
I'm still extremely happy with inertrak and appreciate the last update. It really helped to get the info off my phone in email so I can add it to my desktop version. I look forward to the desktop soon?
I currently use inertrak PC and was very excited to find the iPhone version. I really appreciate how user friendly it is . It took no time at all to set up my clients and project and start timing them! Thanks!

I like it but have not figured out how to enter historical time. I could really use a feature that let me set a begining and ending time and let it calculate. It is easy to use, but if you forget to start it when switching between projects you can loose billable time and i have not found out how to enter that time. If any one has any ideas I would appreciate it.

Only thing out there
I looked at all the time charging/billing apps out there, and then, being frugal (I thought) I bought the cheaper ones first rather than this rather expensive (for an iPhone app) InerTrak app. Turns out that was not the frugal approach, as I should have just ponied up the $20 bucks for InerTrak and been done with it (would have come out about $13 ahead!).
My requirements were not THAT stressing (or so I thought). I wanted to be able to define a client, define a project, and then (preferably but not necceccarily) assign tasks under that Project. "Things" is a good example of what I wanted in that catatgory. Then I wanted to be able to add a date and the hours I worked that task on that date. I did not want a timer (that is really silly in most cases for professionals: we usually have a high enough education that we can tell time ;-), but just to "add" hours (hint, hint, and "ADD" button would be nice!) to the daily total when I continue work on it after lunch. And then I'd like it to total those hours for the client, preferably on a task and project basis, but I'm not even that picky. An email export is nice but not necessary given that I'm usually only working a couple of clients in any given month. You would not think that would be such a big deal to program up an app for, but it would appear that it is.
None of the apps I reviewed or bought did all these things, but InerTrak came closest. "iTaskSheet" has the nicest look and feel (IMHO) but does not have a client rate. It does let you click on the chargeable time and change it with a scroll wheel (this is almost perfect for what I wanted: add the aforementioned "PLUS" capability and that is perfect!). Although "iTaskSheet" could IMHO become the "Things" of the timesheet, its as yet an unfinished app, but keep watching it.
"Time Keeper" was the runner up. It has rates, but it doesn't support a project- client relationship, only client (which you can name as a project if you wish, but that is really not the same). Its key weakness is that the only way to add time is to use the stop watch and there is no way to edit that thereafter. The author claims on thier web site as of this writing that they are working on adding that feature in the next (v1.2?) release. When that happens, TimeKeeper will be in a possition to give InnerTrak a run for the money.
Basically InerTrak had most all of what I was looking for. They don't support tasks under projects as does iTimeSheet, but that is about the only limitation. However, I do not like their GUI as well as the other apps. There is nothing overly onerous about it, but it is just not as clean and elegant as the others: my standard here is "Things" BTW. To make the manual date and time changes for example requires a number of taps which could be much simplified. Again, not difficult or oppressive, just not as clean and elegant as it could/ would/should be.
So my recommendation is to watch the others for with time they have the potential to overtake InerTrak, but for now, you might as well just pony up the $20 bucks, because for the moment they are really the only real game in town in this app space.

Works fine
I am an independent consultant who bills by the hour. I work on different projects and have to record time accordingly. This product does exactly what I need and is easy to set up and use. I had used a product called SDS Time on my Palm and this has more or less equal capability and at a comparable price.

Flexible and Easy
I've used the counter product for Palm (PicoTrak) for years and this version is better. Sure, it could be cheaper but it still pays for itself in the first day. If $20 is too much to pay for your time billing software, you're probably still living with your parents.
Worth it! (updated with suggestion)
This application does exactly as promised: allows the user to easily create clients, create multiple projects within clients, and accurately keep track of time spent on a particular project. The timer stops and starts with a simple tap of the clock, and the timer continues to run even if you are using other applications on the iPhone. As for no free trial, I was a little hesitant as well, but this is a reputable company that has time tracking software for both PC and Macintosh platforms. There are 30-day free trials there, so give those a go to see how they work. The iPhone app is not much different. I'm glad I made the purchase and will definitely continue to use this application. Well done!
UPDATE: I continue to be extremely pleased with the functionality of this application. I have one suggestion though. When keeping track of time in anything but hours/minutes/seconds, it would still be useful to see the hours/minutes/seconds breakdown. Occasionally, I may forget to start/stop a timer, and it would be useful to be able to turn it back by a specific number of minutes, but this isn't possible to do accurately if the time tracking is maintained in a different format without switching it to back to hours/minutes/seconds first.
