Addictively brilliant however...
A more smarter AI is NEEDED!!! & I agree on the other way of winning that every1 has posted about to be illiminated!!!!

Very promising
By far the most addictive free game I've played on the iPhone to date. A rule change would make the game much better: Instead of simply declaring a loser by if a person can no longer move, auto-fill in the rest of the squares for the OTHER player at this point, and then see who wins by the final tally. There have been times when I lost simply because I filled up my empty space faster, even though I had 80% of the board in my color. The music is good for the first couple of minutes, but then gets slow and weird. Nice sound effects. Can't wait for squares 2.

Rating average totally wrong
Meant to say that the rating based on the average of all the reviews should actually be 4.3 not the measly 2.5 that Apple have displayed. Don't know why that is, but not really fair on the developers is it?
Simply fantastic
I just want to say how addictive this game is. Saying that, I do get bored at times even annoyed, please please please make a harder difficulty and maybe even a campaign mode (like some sort of tournament). This would complete the game, but otherwise it's perfect, when's squares 2 out?

This is definitely my all-time favourite game. I constantly play whenever I'm lounging around. The only problem that I have is that the AI could be better. Perhaps being able to select difficulties is an option because I win 90% of the time with the current difficulty. I want to lose more often and be challenged.
