A Most Remarkable App

It has brought about a transformation in Bible studying. The team that designed this App certainly knew what they were doing. The impact that Olive Tree has had, in my opinion, since it’s inception is incredible.

NKJV

I read this Bible because it is the one that has not left out as much as other translation from the original text. It is mostly ease to understand too.

I love this app! A couple of small updates would make it the best bible app in the world.

I love this app! Before I actually mark my Bible, I usually mark the app Bible first. This keeps me from making as many mistakes in marking my actual Bible. There is a couple of things, or updates, that it needs, especially for very studious Christians, pastors, and evangelist. It would be a great help, if I could circle verse numbers, with colored circles or a dot highlight. This would help for separation of thought, topic, and paragraph. Also being able to put a different colored, checkmark or a star next to verse numbers would be quite helpful.

Thank you so much! I will pass your suggestions onto our development team. Blessings!

Excellent Bible app

I really like the free offline NKJV Olive Tree Bible app! I use it daily and enjoy note taking and highlighting. The search feature is so great because I can type in part of a verse and can easily locate the scripture. The app runs really smoothly on my iPhone 11 (in 2024) without glitches. Highly recommend!

My Go-To Bible Study App

I have been a faithful Olive Tree user since the old Palm Pilot days! As a pastor and Sunday school teacher, this is the "mandatory" app I open to prepare a message or lesson. In fact, the vast majority of my "preacher’s library" is contained within Olive Tree.
Every update including the most recent one always provides positive improvements ! The folks at Olive Tree really know how to take care of their product as well as their customers! I use the app across all of my electronic devices, and it is handy that they all stay in sync. And the greatest part of the system is that many of the "study helps" and Bible resources (commentaries, dictionaries, etc. ) track right along with the Bible you may be reading! You will thoroughly enjoy studying with this product.

Best Bible app

This is a fantastic app. The best Bible app by far

Great Bible app

Perfect , simple , and very easy to use app.

Accuracy Counts

As it is in all walks of life Accuracy Counts. In exams, sport, cooking, accounting, building, travel and especially in recording history. The NKJV is the most accurate account of the Bible in modern English. It has a deep meaningful account of God’s gift of faith, to the Jew first and then to all mankind, through Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
May his Word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path on our way to Eternity. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Bible

Fantastic App, and easy to read and navigate

Olive Tree app for iPad Pro

I actually wanted to give this app a higher rating, because I really love the format and layout, highlighting and note options, and the pop-up access to multiple resources: i.e. Greek/Hebrew lexicons; commentaries; dictionaries; cross references; concordances; study tools; etc. It’s very easy on the eyes, too, in my opinion, and makes reading/study fairly enjoyable.
BUT, I really feel that the parallel bible/translation option is really lacking, compared to eSword, which allows top-down listing of essentially unlimited translations/versions for verse-by-verse viewing/comparison, as well as multiple side-by side parallel translation by chapter/verse viewing/comparison, whereas Olive Tree only allows for one parallel version at a time, and it’s not side by side, but in the resource center pop-up option, which makes comparison viewing more difficult than easy, as my eyes have to jump around the screen. However, eSword definitely fails in not allowing footnotes/comments, or pop-up resource access for those multiple translation options (only allowing it for a single selected translation/version in their app’s main window), and unfortunately rather they have a very simplistic and bland user interface, that I personally find not as enjoyable to read.
I just wish there were one app that had it all…
