Could be great, but it's not.
Most people have said the problems they have had with this app already in past reviews. The company doesn't care, and now, neither do I.

Lazy App Developers
Don't bother with this time wasting app! It was a great concept when it first came out years ago but gets a single star because the developers have chosen to do NOTHING to improve it over the years. It is also SUPER slow. This is the kind of app that needs to be snappy. Take a pic... Send it... Receive a pic... Take another pic... Repeat. At times it takes up to 25-30 seconds for a pic to send while you stare at your phone... Not fun in any way shape or form. It makes me feel like I have an original iPhone and not a 4.
Speed this app up and at least add push notifications and I may start to use it again. until then, no Photoswap for me.

Fun fun fun
Probably my favourite app of all, I use it a lot. Really entertaining and it's a great way to stay in shape!
Fantastic Idea... But...
Very minimal in terms of features. Take a picture it sends it.. Okay that's fair enough... You can't review photo history with a participant, or send messages, plus the report button is in a bad location... A buddy system would be fantastic, but I have my doubts that this will ever be updated, since it has been two years... Would definately like to see this project picked up by another developer or company. I would pay for this.

Needs an Update
Very frustrating app - you frequently get banned for no reason at all, and a moderator never reviews the allegedly offensive pictures. You just sit in limbo, waiting, even if someone reports by mistake.
It is long, long overdue for an update - a blocking feature would be nice, as would some way to build a 'buddy' list. The most useful thing might be settings to opt in (or out) of categories, e.g. people, places, animals, etc., which would allow for a 'mature' category, eliminating a good part of the reporting idiocy.
It has become a home for hairy-legged guys and teenaged boys, both constantly demanding boob pictures; like that's going to happen. It used to be a fun, creative place but has been replaced by unending pictures of feet and TVs. Categories might help.

At times funny and lose the server message, or have an option to disable it at least.

Am I the only one experiencing the app crashing as soon as it starts??
Good but could be better
If you are willing to sit through a plethora of feet, legs, television screens and crotch shots you will find some gems with this app. It is a great way to see sights from other parts of the world.
This app would benefit from a friends list. I've lost too many people by hitting message instead of reply. A library of messages would be nice too so you don't need to have the requirement of replying to one photo or losing it by looking at the next message.
I've tried other swapping apps with better features but Photoswap is still my favorite because of the large number of users.

Nice idea
It would be a good idea but all the photos people take are terible or of someones crotch.

It's a great app, however it needs to upgrade to that you can get multiple messages back even if you quit the conversation"
