Waaaaaaay slow
Was a lot quicker before the phone update, otherwise it's a 5 star!
Frustrating
I don't know which is worse, the 24 hour "temporary block" for sending pictures of my flower garden or the 48 hour ban for having a GREAT time. There needs to be an adult only section without the report option and a general public section. It is clear from my contact with the developers and all the frustrated people who use the app that the developers DO NOT CARE!!! The love their new game bix (they plug it A LOT) but must think of this app as not worth any more work. Do not waste your time or energy downloading this poorly managed app!!! I am only giving it one star because I can't give it zero.

I have now tried everything I can think of not to get blocked. I have used info and no info. I have tried tame pictures and sexy pictures ( of both male and female) it does not matter what you send you will get reported. DO NOT USE THIS APP!!! It's a waste of time. The horrible developers have put too much power in the hands of others. Photoswap should be removed from the app store all together unless changes are made.

This app is garbage unless you are a gay male that likes really hairy legs. Nuff said.
almost great, but compromised by bad users
I want to give this app 5 stars, but people abusing the report feature is a major flaw. I've been placed in moderation a couple times for sharing no more than abstract art and/or landscape shots, and a quick look here and elsewhere makes clear I'm far from the only one with this problem. It seems some small number of users report anyone who isn't a young girl looking to get naked. It's an incredibly addictive app otherwise, and would be even if there were no naked people on it. Padadaz needs to get off their keisters and address the reporting issue, because it's the only thing preventing PhotoSwap from being one of the very best apps on the iPhone. They said they would in January, and it's now June, guys.

The right people
I really enjoy this app, it's quite addicting. The only things that don't make it a 5 star app for me are 1. Its a little slower than I would like and 2. Everyone on it seems to just want you to show them t**s & a*s. This makes it a little annoying after a while, but if you just ignore that part of it you can see some pretty interesting stuff!

Fun app, but really needs an update.
This app is fairly decent. Can be fun at times or other ties can be completely pointless.
If the makers ever listen to the consumers and decide to update this app it would be nice to see: A filter system, some people want rude things!
A system whereby you can select why an image is supposedly offensive, i have been blocked many times for no reason at all and it takes like two days for the admin to "review" my image.
Also they should make a way of adding friends and searching for users.
Just please update this application and don't report for no reason, it's really annoying...just ignore the pic and move on.

Has potential
This has the potential to be a brilliant application. The concept is clever and interesting. Whats bringing it down is having to trudge through all the horny guys looking for pics saying "no reporting". Finding someone who wishes to use the App just for interesting photos and for something other than "sexy pics" is like gold dust. As suggested in an earlier reveiw, having a "clean" and an "open" version would solve this, and to strictly enforce it. If it wasnt for this fundamental flaw i'd consider this application as the best one I've seen so far in the iTunes store.

Great app
Love this, lots of fun if you get someone good on the other end.
Only suggestions would be maybe a chance to see the history of your conversation, like swiping up and down moves back and forward through the message timeline, and swiping left/right moves between current conversations.
The only other change would be to move the report button, Its in the same place as "use photo" so if the app freezes youend up pressing it.
Today I accidently pressed the report button and then accidently pressed Yes because I'm so used to dismissing that stupid message you pop up every time I open the app, so i accidently reported someone who i was having a perfectly nice picture swap for 2 weeks with, pretty stupid UI choices there really.

Please Fix Reporting
Photoswap is fun. But it's constantly ruined by random reporters who simply report things they don't like. I've been temp banned twice (which means a moderator checks the pictures) and been reinstated, both times. I understand the need for a report button, but since I don't send out objectional material randomly, it's very annoying to be in a good photoswap conversation only to get the temp ban warning. Please fix reporting so that if people falsely report pictures they run the risk of being banned themselves. And maybe if they continue to do it they receive a 48 hour ban. Fix this and I would raise my rating to 4 stars, add a way to thread people you are replying to so you don't lose them and I give it 5. Thanks.

Add the following changes and it would be great.
1a. Move the report button to another location.
1b. Replace the report with a block user option.
2. Add a buddy system of some kind. It would be nice to be able to check back in with users days later. Sometimes I have to choose between viewing a new message & trying to find a cool reply to my current swapper first.
I know a few times I had a blast trying to stump a user with random photo matching... Only to have to avoid others because I didn't want to lose them. Then when I was bored a week later I was wishing I could start the game up with them again. But of course I couldn't because it is not possible in the current state.
I say make another version with the more robust features and charge $9.99 for it. I'd pay that for a perfect version. I think a lot of loyal users would as well.
