This app is very useful. Please update to support larger screen and maybe the ability to remove ads.
Good as far as it goes
Be aware that the displayed wire diameter is that of a single solid wire of the selected gauge so it is of no use for estimating the bundle diameter of a stranded wire of the same CSA which is what I needed for being able to drill a hole to be a close fit over ordinary stranded wires. The bundle diameter of stranded wires is always larger than the solid diameter.

Great app for wirework jewelry.
Great app for wirework jewelry. I can use my calipers to measure and then convert to gauges. I am always losing the labels on my wire, and have to guess at gauges for projects. This is seriously a must have since my little tool for checking gauge is frequently missing. (But I ALWAYS know where my ipad and phone are!)

It would be good if it could go mm square to AWG too
And work out what size wire you have by the number of strands times the o/d

Would be fantastic if it gave you the max current load for the wire. If one could type in the voltage and length and it gave u the max current for that chosen wire

Great application! But would be better if MCM sizes were included (including DLO MCM sizes)
