Good as far as it goes
Be aware that the displayed wire diameter is that of a single solid wire of the selected gauge so it is of no use for estimating the bundle diameter of a stranded wire of the same CSA which is what I needed for being able to drill a hole to be a close fit over ordinary stranded wires. The bundle diameter of stranded wires is always larger than the solid diameter.Show lessNeed a knot?

Great app for wirework jewelry. I can use my calipers to measure and then convert to gauges. I am always losing the labels on my wire, and have to guess at gauges for projects. This is seriously a must have since my little tool for checking gauge is frequently missing. (But I ALWAYS know where my ipad and phone are!)Show lesskarynl
