NOSTALGA
I remember jumping on to mom’s old iphone 1 and playing this for hours. When the battery of her phone became a pillow of battery acid, i got scared of losing this game. Thank the stars it was preserved.

Wonderful Memories
I played this game for the first time about a decade ago, I loved it then I love it now, my only problem is the controls are really wonky and broken; otherwise, it’s a great nostalgic game.
Frustrating experience
While initially provided a nice burst of nostalgia to the early days of the app store, it was quickly overtaken by frustration from the controls. Often times I would press jump or move, but the input wouldn’t register, and I’d die. Additionally, resetting a level often took several presses before the button registered.
The level design is also all over the place. Some levels are straightforward while others are meant to be more complex, but they don’t really have a proper order to their difficulty. Many levels can simply be cheesed by drawing a path on the top or bottom of the level and skipping everything, and often the levels that can’t be cheesed in this way make you wish you could, due to unreasonably wild obstacle movement that is near impossible to predict and makes many levels feel luck-based, especially with the slow movement speed previously mentioned unresponsive controls adding an extra layer of making the game feel that it’s actively fighting against you.
At best, might be worth poking at a few levels to see what it’s all about for novelty or nostalgia, but I can’t recommend trying to play the full game.
