Paid full price and bought this and now it’s useless. And they want you to buy monthly or annual subscription now :(
Disappointing
It WAS a great app until, after years of loyalty and purchasing add ons, they moved to a subscription model and hung previous customers out to dry. Ethical developers grandparent previous users in. Not so here. Look elsewhere.
Works great until ....
For years this seemed like the most wonderful app ever. It was very stable for a long long while and now it crashes every time I try to save an entry. What once was so valuable is now useless.
I used it for a long time and had experiences early on at random times when it went completely haywire and dropped entire categories, or wiped out entries in a category, or even randomly changed numbers as you entered them. Try recovering three months of expenses in a suddenly blank field —from memory, since of course you threw the receipts away — without breaking into a sweat. Then it was fine for years. But now— no. It's sick. Some update!
When it doesn't fail, it's great. Just keep a close eye on it when you use it and a paper back up.

As the author of the app I really would appreciate it if you could contact us directly. Quite honestly what you are describing is something I have never heard of before and have no outstanding reports from other users. We do not have your email but cannot only respond to your review within the App Store like this. If you can PLEASE go into the Prefs screen within the app and tap the "Email the Author" link. The app has no history of losing data so I am hoping that perhaps you accidently deleted a log. IF this is the case the app allows "undeleting" of logs. Emails received from customers are always responded to within 24 hours, typically much quicker than that.
App is not working
This is the second time I have used this app with a second company as the first experience was great. However, for some reason this time around the app will not save my new submissions. When I hit save to retain the information I have entered for an expense, the app shuts down, not saving the information being submitted. Instead I have to make a “duplicate” of each entry to ensure it is saved before actually trying to save it, as it shuts down the app and again, not saving the entry I was working on.
I have tried deleting and reloading the app, shutting down my phone and reinstalling the app which have all not corrected this issue with saving entries.

Really useful app for one small company
Still using expense tracker after 4 years works really well not complicated and reliable.
This is a great little app really useful to be able to log all income and expenses easily on the go. Emailing them to home computer is great as long as you set up the reports properly which is not difficult on the phone. I messed up and sent a couple of queries to the developer who responded very quickly and explained what I needed to do. I am a one man outfit doing consultancy work and this is ideal. Mike

Not working after hitting save 😖
After updating my phone to iOS 15.1 now this app is not working as i need it for work expenses ASAP!! can anyone help on how do it get it back working and the data 🤦♂️ as i deleted it and re installed it and lost all of my 29 months of expenses 😠 😠

By respect to their customers, the company should correct the bug instead of asking the get the new paid version.
Ripoff
Was using this app and enjoyed it. Stopped working when upgraded to iOS 15 and customer support offers no solutions but to switch to a subscription service. Completely cut from what I paid for and doesn’t look like can get a refund either. Not a happy customer.
iOs 15 Update
I’m using this app since many years now. But it doesn't work at all and crash with the new iOs. Hope you will give us an update very very soon!!!
Broken on iOS 15
I’ve been using this app for years but it no longer allows me to enter a mileage entry in iOS 15 without crashing. Until fixed, it’s unusable to me.
