Game is great and I get ads are a part of the price for playing for free but the World Series of Poker Ads don’t let you close when they’re done meaning you have to close the app and hope it doesn’t pop up again when you open it because of it does you have to close and try again. Super annoying and on principle I’d never use the WSOP app and am considering stopping use if Word Warp because it is THAT annoying. Don’t let an advertiser ruin your app!Show lessdinsy23

I’ve had this app on my phone probably longer than any other, at least 10 years. It is simple and even though I was willing to pay for the upgrade, it wasn’t the same app without ads; it was a completely different app. So there is no way to get rid of ads. Instead of an ad after 3-5 turns like it started, there is now an ad after every turn. I rarely play anymore due to the annoying ads. The app works well. The developer has made some minor enhancements but not any big changes in years.
Response to your response: the game owners (not the original developer as it was sold to mobilityware several years ago) have posted the same response to every critical review for the past 5 years and have turned deaf ears to the players of this game. I have earned every badge offered but I’m ready to look for a new game.Show lessmommyblue4

I paid for the full licence three times, but they deleted the paid version and now we get noisy ads every round. There are no other good versions of word games like this, it drives me crazy that I can’t play it.Lottie77

Frequently advertisements freeze and don’t allow further games of WordWarp to be played. Keep having to delete the app and reinstall.
Great game otherwise but this is very frustrating and each time all statistics are lost.Dont believe name is taken

Concept is good. Always found it entertaining. Too bad that you spend more time navigating ads than playing. Oh well, another app for the trash ☹️Tucan2000

I used to play this all the time and purchased an ad free version - now it doesn’t play ads in the middle of a game but it takes forever to go to the next round because the ads play between rounds. I don’t recommend it anymore to friends who love word games, in fact I tell them to stay away from it.Show lesscat'sbird

I have been playing this game since it came out and have always loved it. However there are so many ads at this point that it has ruined the game. I really like the interface and the variety of words but it’s become so unpleasant (not to mention that the ads have audio that you can’t turn off. So that even if you are willing to put up wi to the ads - you can’t play in any setting where there are other people). I would gladly pay for an ad free version but there isn’t one. Great game to keep my brain sharp but too many ads. Also the choice of some words is strange. Some words accepted in crossword clues are not accepted ie tented and others are ie duh, ooh, aha which more sound effects than words.
I agree totally. That said , it is a favourite game for me.
Also I tried Homescapes, didn’t like it, deleted but it popped up and I can’t get rid of it to play Word Warp.Show lessWkvjrngid

Way too many ads.
This has been the most ridiculous amount of ads of any download I have ever done. It’s just not that great of a game to have to deal with that much extra stuff. After reading through some of the other reviews, it is obvious that the developers of this must have a single digit IQ. Not listening to that Many people about an issue is a problem. Fortunately, I do not have anything else by just developer download it, otherwise, I would delete it. I am also going to post this anywhere. I can find a link on social media.
