App does exactly what they said it would. I use it when I am in a hurry and do not feel like figuring out the roman numeral. Roman Numerals are not used as much any more, but when they are this comes in hand. AND IT IS FREE!! Can't beat that!!
Usefull
Not bad to have at hand if you are unable to do this in your head, but I would have liked it to have the ability to convert the other way as well - ie. Arabic numbers Into Roman numerals.
Apart from this not bad little app, and one I am sure people will find it invaluable the next time they visit a cathedral etc.
If it had the opposite conversion as I have outlined above - I would give it five stars.

Update ~ This is now perfect, as the developer has amended the conversion process so that you can input either Arabic or Roman numerals and have them converted in the opposite direction.
A full five marks for this really handy tool. If like me you are a keen historian and like to read Latin dates etc then this is the ideal app to have with you.

Silly Numbers Fixed!
Wow! It seems app writers do read the reviews (although I'm sure Mr Clarke had written the update before my previous remarks) as he seems to have addressed the comments I made about false input.
The app now rejects 'silly numbers' and outputs strictly correct Roman Numerals despite the user's attempt to make it do otherwise. Well done!

Great for checking kids homework. If its updated to do math questions would be better. Also if it was smart to change IIII to IV would be better yet. Price was right. Thanks.
