Super fun; had it for years
I’ve had this game for years and I don’t get tired of it. It’s one of the only games I’ve kept and it’s a game I can always play when I’m bored and not get tired of it. I wish I could get rid of the sounds so I could listen to music on my phone while playing but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯GIGI20252006
How to do a very bad Risk
Wish I could give negative stars. I find it hard to believe the dice rolls are random since that’s the ONLY challenging issue in game. All the colors do same strategy each game, yellow is always does as yellow does. And strange how first round I just give up attempting to take any territory since those rolls are the most biased against you the player. Twenty vs one army - I lose yet Yellow can run wild with just three armies. It is a disgrace.
If they made the dice rolls actually random and occasionally randomized what strategy each color did - I would gladly give them money but they can’t do those simple things.Show lessDocster87

Hi Docster, the dice rolls in Lux are as random as computer numbers get. For every win there's a loss, sometimes for you and sometimes for the other guy. Have a good oneGreat nostalgia

Update Dec 2018. No longer works on IOS 12 on iPhone 6+ I've been using this game since it came out in 2008. I still play with it a few times a day. I know it is ridiculous that I keep playing the same game over and over but I love it.Show lessEstebanD
Great game
Always loved Risk board game, but never have the time. Tried this out. Been one of my fav game to play for almost a decade. Simpler map and smooth gameplay. Short and simple animation but interesting. Finally got bored of the AI play styles and upgraded to the paid version this year. Both are great! Perfect for busy individual to just relax and still feel stimulated after. Totally a 5 star game!Show lessAmy.808080
Fun game, but algorithm errors.
I like the game but it has problems. The developer claims that the algorithms are fair. I would dispute that. The errors become more apparent as the game progresses and the size of armies gets into the hundreds range.
There are accounting errors. Sometimes when moving armies, I click on a country with X armies and suddenly the counter says 2X. If I move all the armies, that country now has -X armies in it, and if i move armies back, X armies disappear before the counter starts incrementing.
There are also apparent odds miscalculations. Especially for red, I consistently see attacking armies with a 2:3 ratio winning battles. The defending army should win the vast majority of these battles. I have even been attacked by red and lost when I had a 2:1 advantage. This should be virtually impossible. I also see a behavior where sequential attacks on an enemy consistently fail, up to ten times, but choosing another attack country and then switching back resets the odds, and then it behaves normally. A sequence of ten sequential losses is so statistically unlikely that it should not happen. I think that if the developer published his algorithms, or at least the odds equations, the errors would become apparent.Show less00cho
