Good game
I really like this game. All puzzles ARE solvable (I solved them all) and no, you don't need to guess. Please update with more puzzles though. Like I said I solved them all. With more frequent updates I will change my rating to 5 stars. Best sudoku game I've played on iPhone.Chucky bees
nice design, but it makes impossible games
The way board is done and how play goes it's a really nice app, but sudoku itself games are bad, often there is no logical way to solve it and you have to guess, and sometimes it even creates games that are not solvable. I just encountered another game like that and decided to check with a sudoku solver, it turned out I was trying to play a game that does not have a solution.Show lesstheDimka
Difficult for the Ordinary Mortal
Far more difficult than the free version. At a certain point depending on the skill level you cannot solve the puzzles using merely deductive logic. You have to be able to think way forward and remember where you would be placing numbers. My guess is that If you can play chess blindfolded, you will probably do OK with this Sudoku version. Personally, I have no such photographic memory so this is a bit too difficult.Show lessSisyphus44
Puzzles Repeat
I'm about halfway through the 210 "skilled" puzzles and I've noticed that there are MANY repeat puzzles. Several times I finished a puzzle and got the very same one next. This app is pretty and works very well but you're definitely not getting the 800+ puzzles that they claim you're getting. It seems like the more puzzles I do, the more repeats I find, which is no fun because I csn't help but remember where certain numbers go (I have a fairly good photographic memory). I was finally prompted to comment on this after I skipped through 5 puzzles in a row that I had done before. Boo.Show lessQue Linda5
Ok game, definitely challenging
As far as Sudoku goes, it work & the features are nice.
I've played through for a week or so now and agree that no 'guessing' is needed...but more time than not, have had to resort to the 'Nishio' strategy which is where you basically make the best guess in a narrowed down field and see if you were right or not. I still consider this 'guessing'.
If others are completing with no '50:50' type of logic needed, please let me know and will assume I only thought I was an expert.
Otherwise, didn't really seem much difference in the levels and more random or not whether a hard or easier puzzle regardless of level.Show lessSF Prophet
Inconsistent
I've only played this version at the easiest level ("skilled"), but as you might guess from the earlier, highly variable reviews, it is really unpredictable how easy the games will be. Some are easier than the "expert" level of the free Sudoku; some are impossibly difficult and I just give up after an hour or so since I don't want to cheat. I went online to other websites (MMGG's site offers no help) and learned some new Sudoku strategies that pulled me through a couple games, but that wasn't enough for others. Solvable by guess and check method only!!
After working several puzzles I have determined that the puzzles don't have clear logical solutions, and in order to solve, you must resort to making a best guess. This was most disappointing as the puzzles in the free version all had logical solutions. If you can't definitively justify your answers then you are just guessing, and that's not much of a game.Show lessSubversiveMonk
Looking for harder sudoku?
This is the place to find them! I had DL Mighty Mighty Good Games' Free Sudoku, and they were way too easy for me. With this set there are 135 games x 4 levels of difficulty, and the lowest level is a challenge for me currently. Hopefully by the time I'll have finished them all, there will be "Hellish Sudoku" by MMGG, so I'll have some more fun!Show lesssravana1957

Excellent puzzles, good interface. Best Sudoku game I have seen, by far. Puzzles are difficult enough that I had to learn new strategies just to manage the first level. If regular "expert" puzzles are to easy for you, then you will enjoy these. If you think these puzzles require guessing (as some reviewers seem to think), then you just need to do some studying to solve them. Cheated..nothing better than the free one
This paid app is nothing but a collection of very easy puzzles labled as 'Adept', 'Master' and 'Genius'. The free app has the same level of puzzles as this one, so why pay 3 dollars? I feel I have been completely cheated. Have tried 30-40 puzles from all difficulty levels and unfortunately none of them is anything better than 'Easy' category.Show lessTim789
