The new update is Awful!!!
The new update is way less efficient and has made it hard to view my shifts and any shifts that are released at a quick glance. Unfortunately, now different job titles are mixed up on one page and all start times are placed in chronological order from Am to Pm. It makes it difficult to see who I’m working with (with the same job title). I have to spend time reading each person and title and and decipher through the mess. Please GROUP JOB TITLES BACK TOGETHER! Why did you make it more difficult for us?
I also can’t quickly see who I’m working with when I initially click on my shift button. I don’t know why it was split into two separate pages. So unnecessary.
Please bring back the old version or at least make this new look similar to the old layout. This is so upsetting!!! I hate looking opening this app now and I’m quite literally forced to for work.

Hi! We are so sorry for the inconvenience caused by this update. We heard you and we have reverted back to the previous version of HotSchedules. We are now working to incorporate improvements based on the comments we received from users. Expect a new version that reflects your feedback to be rolled out sometime in Q4. Thank you!
New update is horrible
I don’t understand why things are changed so egregiously when it’s not broken. There’s too much going on when you open the app. Now I have to put in a reason for a shift pick up if times overlap when before I never needed to.
Everything is an alphabetical order. So it’s hard to see specifically who’s a server or who is a bartender when they’re all together and not separated by what position they are. The old way was better when I could just see what shifts were available and see who is working on the same page and not having to click onto another screen. Plus, why can’t available shifts be separated into morning and nights, and not onto one page where it becomes overwhelming if there are a lot of shifts available. I feel like the development team for the last two years have been going backwards in design, efficiency, and functionality.

Calendar Sync Busted
Literally always been an issue. Used to have to unsync and resync my calendar weekly, now the feature is completely broken. I can’t get it to connect to iCal at all. My iOS settings straight up doesn’t even recognize the HotSchedules app as having calendar features. I’ve tried following the help guide and going through settings and privacy (even going as far as to check calendar privileges in three different ways through settings), triple checking the in-app route, and I even tried using Google calendar and having that synced to my iCal. Unfortunately, HotSchedules inaccurately syncs to Google, listing all my shifts as 5min long. I can’t even find the calendar subscription url to manually sync the app to iCal. Honestly, if the app can’t do a good job of auto sync, at least give me the digital calendar link, so I can at least do it myself.

New update not good
New update prevents us to view who’s scheduled the whole day. Not happy with the new update. Please fix it. I paid for the app as well.
Always just loading
It’s really annoying because I need this app for work and it’s constantly just …loading… and not actually working. Super slow! Fix it asap please

Everyone at my work has a hard time getting into this app and I can’t even get in to see the time I’m working today.. Please fix this as it’s been an ongoing issue and I’m sure others are unhappy as they’ve paid for it :/
