  • Sempre meglior, always gets better

I have been using this app since about 2009, and I’ve always liked it. Year-by-year, it gets better. It would be nice if I could choose a different language for the display of text, which would permit me to see “venerdì 30 ago“ instead of “Friday Aug. 30.“ as of now, it seems to be locked in English. I just changed the system language of my iPhone (and rebooted) to Italian and almost everything shows up in Italian, but the app still tells me that it’s Friday, August 30 instead of venerdì 30 agosto. Thus, it is not simply using the system language of the phone. This must really enrage the French. I do not doubt the developers will attend to this, because they are quite obviously alert and attentive.

I'm really sorry, but the app is not localized for the Italian language. It is very hard work to keep the app updated with the six languages it currently supports, so I've stopped adding new languages some years ago :-/ Sorry again!
  • So good

I’ve been using this for years. The design is minimal, beautiful, and accurate. I use it whenever I need to set a traditional clock accurately: the display is easy to read at a distance.

I also wanted to call out the included Apple Watch support. It’s effectively a custom watch face that’s more stylish than what Apple provides. It’s too bad Apple doesn’t allow developers to create true watch faces with complications. I’d use this one all the time if I could.

  • Love It

Used now for two months. Does one thing and does it well. I use it to update house clocks and wrist. Easy to synchronize. I don’t use alarm clock feature so can’t comment on it. No ads! No subscriptions! No begs! Just hit the tip jar occasionally and say thank you for a painless experience

Thank you very much for your warm review and for the tip :)
  • Great app but some bugs

Love the app and the light bright look. However, it's not syncing every hour as I have set but during startup instead, it won't change the second hand dot style away from single dot, and the analog sounds don't work. Since this is a paid app I'd either like a refund or to return it until the bugs are fixed.

    1. Syncing every hour means that the app will sync again after it run an hour. This is an option for users who run the app all the time, so a sync is done once an hour. 2. If the single dot style does not change, you have enabled the "Night Mode" option by accident. Switch it off, and the second dot styles will appear. 3. The analog sounds does work, but they are very suble. 4. If you want a refund, you have to contact Apple, I as a developer cannot do this, sorry.
  • Seems odd...

...to pay for a "simple clock app" but I end up using this so so much. I love it.

    Edit:
I wrote the above 7 years ago! I still use this app everyday. There was another update today (the 49th update!) and I want to let the developer know that all of their users appreciate the effort!
  • nerdy fun clock

Do I NEED to know the time with micro second precision? Probably not. But it sure is fun to play with. I suppose if I ever have to coordinate some kind of secret mission or something, this will be the app I use.
  • Accurate, simple and easy.

Accurate, simple and easy. Everything you want from a clock without all the superfluous BS. I have had it most of a Decade
  • Best Bedside Clock

I don’t like clocks glaring at me at night. This is easily configured to a readable level that isn’t obnoxious. I tried several of the top rated apps and this is by far my favorite. I don’t need to waste anymore time, this is perfect.

One note to the developer, the Second Dots Mode has 4 different options and changing the setting doesn’t change the display. It used to work, not now.

The second dot will be switched to "one-dot" when the night mode of the app is enabled. This is because increasing second dots would increase the brightness of the clock, which I think is distracting in the night.
  • Wouldn’t be without this app

This is one of the handiest apps around—especially if you travel. It will sync with the world clock and provide you the correct local time; it is wonderful.

    Happy travels
  • Perfect time hack

Perfect for a confused guy like me who has a mechanical watch but wants it to be accurate to the second when I set it.
