Fun & easy tennis game
I'm enjoying this game once in a while. Pretty easy to learn, somewhat realistic, you basically move your player around by tapping the screen where you want him/her to go. I'd give it 5 stars if I could place the ball where I wanted to. I don't think you can do that, so my player ends up running all over the court while opponent stands still, but fun for a match or two at a time.Show lessShaner2
Way better than "Real Tennis 2009"
I got the "Real Tennis 2009" by Gameloft yesterday, for free (today is back to $4.99) and compared both games. Gameloft's has better graphics but that's it!! you can't hit the ball and when you do, the ball goes all wrong :-(
This game is cheaper and better so I'd say get it!!RacerX2005

It Is really fun at times but there are some problems such as it can lack response time meaning it takes to long to respond, also somtimes the ball is way infront of the person and they can hit it from 15 or so feet away, also you should fix how you can hit the ball on the fly on a serve because that is unrealistic. All in all it is a fun game though but it would be nice if you fixed these things.Show lessgeabus

This is an all around decent game. But it definitely needs an update. I would suggest adding instant replay and more players to choose from and play against. Everything else is pretty much ok. The graphics are ok and movements are fluid, but there is room for improvement. The players look a little stiff. With these additions / changes, this could definitely rival Real Tennis 2009.Show lessStrato G
Another App Gone Bad With Update
I loved this game before the new update. I don't know why people thought it wasn't tough enough. I never had a problem with the speed of the game play. I never thought it was laggy at all. Now when I play it on my 3G iPhone I can not get to the ball fast enough to hit it back. The AI is always winning because her shots are quicker and faster than my player's. The Quick Game mode was very fast before but now it is impossible to play this way. Tennis is not all about who can hit the ball faster and better. There are lobs, slice shots, and drop shots that have noting to do with how hard the ball is hit (within the game play). There are many ways to win a point in a match. My concern is that the new update has taken away the players shot selection because the AI/CPU hits the ball so fast. There is no time to respond to make return a shot. My serves are better but the game play suffers because of the need for speed. That has nothing to do with tennis but the game play itself. Remember, this is an iPhone/Touch/Computer game not real life. Too bad because I loved this app. Hope it gets resolved soon or I might delete it.Show lessdiscopunkk

Gonna be short and sweet. This is the best tennis app out there for 99 cents. If you want the best tennis app out there period try out gameloft tennis game. But for those who dont wanna spend 5 bucks this satisfys me enough and this is coming from a tennis player. Not the best controls but still easy...maybe too easy.
