English or Hindi?
Just installed. Hindi word of the day: Banknote! Yes, this is supposedly a Hindi word. I think not.

IT fails to tell you before you buy the application that you have to download one word a day after midnight! So this app comes with one word in it's memory and we are meant to go through the tedious task of downloading one per day???? Are you kidding?

Has words like input but written in devanagari, had another English word just written in the script.

Pretty good
Sometimes the English transliteration or the Hindi spelling is wrong or debatably wierd. But it's pretty good and useful if you listen to the native speaker :)
Worst I have ever seen
Poor value for money. Most of the words are in English like Beer, Calcutta etc. Some words are good, so I stored them in the word bank. But it disappeared one fine morning. I was tempted to buy the full version after using lite version for few days. Thank God I saved some money. If you want to learn Hindi this is not the programme I would recommend.

Not impressed
I got this app 4 days ago, and 3 of the 4 daily words so far have included blatant mistakes, either in the Hindi script or English romanization. I am not impressed, and I am glad I didn't buy the full version.
