Best RISK game around with hundreds of extra maps.
Problem is that sometimes it crashes.

Incredibly frustrating don’t waste your money
This is my third time reviewing. My previous reviews have been deleted - very unethical.
I used to love this game but the AI makes it unplayable. My last game I had 140 plus armies against none and almost all of the map. The last opponent had 2 cards and 5 territories with no armies. On the next turn the computer opponent wiped out all of my armies and had taken all of the territories except 3. This kind of unbalanced play is ridiculous. Rolls almost always go in the computers favor. Computer opponents get random army draws. It is nearly impossible to win unless the board is severely staked in your favor to start.

No longer working
I used to enjoy this game so purchased the upgrade , but it’s recently stopped working; have to play against yourself .. not sure what’s going on
I play this game the most, many years now.
With the dozens of player-generated maps and many settings, there is so much replayability. I heartily recommend it.
One feature I would most certainly have added would have been a counter that shows the number of turns it took me to defeat a map. That would provide me with a way to play myself and add even further to the replayability.

Uninstalled.
The game is great if you are learning risk. But once you are semi competent you’d obviously want to increase difficulty. All of the AI is essentially the same and can be easily beaten until you reach reaper difficulty. This is where the game becomes tiresome and ridiculous. when you are in a position of strength and could easily win, the AI will then intentionally suicide itself and when questioned the creators of the game say that’s what it’s designed to do. So you want to start planning for that, and working on a strategy to play an AI that just has no strategy to win well then the game will begin to have cheating dice where the AI could have a ten troop advantage and come out 20 troops on top after attacking.

This game would be fun if it was even close to being fair. I have played this game for a long time and really enjoyed it but I finally had to stop. I don’t know what you did to it, but it is now a joyless, frustrating waste of time. Unless I start with an overwhelming advantage there is no way to win. You can’t strategize because the odds are so stacked against you. I just lost 4 battles with an over 20 to 1 army advantage. That should almost never happen once, let alone four times. I used to love this game but now it just makes me angry. Don’t waste you time or your money.

Know your cards
My only complaint is that you can’t see what cards you’re holding so you would know when you will be cashing before your turn.

Have played this for countless hours over the years. Would love a version that doesn't drain the battery as much, but otherwise this is a very good game.

Addictive, heaps of options, quick gameplay and no adds. What’s not to like?
