Should ideally be open-sourced
For a tool that is a client app for an open-sourced, self-hosted web app for managing your MFA tokens, this app should also be open-sourced.
Given that’s this is the first iOS/macOS compatible offline app for 2fauth in awhile, I reluctantly installed this to give it a try. Connected to a dev install of my 2fauth server and had FW rules, managed by Lulu, to only allow access for the app to connect to my 2fauth server’s domain. The app was able to appropriately generate tokens offline.
I’ll keep it configured this way for a bit before deciding to connect and allow code generation for my actual MFA tokens.

Response from developer
Thanks for the feedback - I completely agree. I always intended to make the code public, so I've now open-sourced this project so the code can be audited and verified by the community. I appreciate you giving the app a try. Thanks. Ryan.
Works great!!
Perfect for my 2FAuth instance having an offline copy is huge
