All this for a cup of coffee!

Please don’t let the cost scare you away from this huuuggge quality of life upgrade over the easy army website. It’s like night and day.

Makes life easier!

Easy to use, and if you notice anything there is a link to report issues or requests for updates.

Great Support

Price is well worth the cost of admission. I also ran into an issue and the developer responded and gave a fix within a day. Very impressed!

Good for getting an idea

I am just starting out with Bolt action and this is definitely helpful ing getting a bit of an idea.
The only thing thats holding it back from a 5 star is that I feel it could have more on the rules and finer details, especially to help newer players coming in.
On the upside, great UI, easy to use and an overall neat appearance.

Near perfection

It’s a few bucks and now your list is 2 taps away. Simple easy to use. I believe it’s missing the ability to check if the list is legal but honestly this is supplemental to the rulebook and that aspect it’s perfect.

Beats Easy Army & Warlords App

It’s a very easy to use App. It doesn’t contain all the mistakes of easy army, and it’s cheaper than warlord games App.
It does contain a few minor mistakes, it allows you to take too many weapon teams in an infantry platoon, if they fix that minor bug, this app would be unbeatable

Great value for money.

Problem with the newest update

The app updated to BoltAction 3.0, which is great for people who want to play the new addition.

My friends and I do not play third edition, do not want to play third edition, and we are never going to play third edition.

I spent money on this app and enjoyed using it, only for it to delete all my saved lists (which I also used to keep track of what miniature I have) and abandon all support and features that I used for such.

I would’ve much preferred the developer publish a separate app for the new addition of BoltAction instead of removing the support for previous additions and deleting my lists WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE OR WARNING!!!

This will probably be an excellent app for third edition list making in a couple months when all of the features and nations have been fully implemented. in the meantime however, I want an apology in my money back!

Excellent app and support

New to bolt action so was keen to find a good app to help me navigate list building and the rules. This app does the trick and Ben is super helpful - I asked about possibility of some extra rules in the app and he added them very quickly. Highly recommend.

Excellent Bolt Action Army Builder

This app is excellent for organizing my bolt action army list. If you want a nice clean app that is thorough and simple to learn then this is the one.
Nice job guys!

Response from developer

Headby, its has been updated to fix the startup crash. Thanks for the report.

Will not open

Updated iPad and iPhone to iOS 15.4 and app crashes before even loading

Response from developer

dracirem, we are aware of the issue with version 1.49 and are releasing an update.

Latest update included bug!

Loved the app for a while now, but recent update has caused a bug where attempting to edit completed lists causes the app to crash. Please fix it! 😅. Eagerly awaiting a bug fix and appreciate your work.

Response from developer

Hello. I've added the ability to send an error report when a list load fails. Send the error report after the next update and I will find out what is going on. Thanks.

Great App

Downloaded this just to see if it had improved and I can’t see anything wrong with it. Works just like it should. Love the quick rules part as it’s clear and so much quicker than flipping pages of the book to check. No doubt as the dev works on the app more features will be added. Will be telling the guys down the club for sure to use this!

Terrible app

The app needs updating as there is a problem saving any data. Sent message to the owner and no reply for over 3 months now. Totally useless app that does not work..stay clear!

Response from developer

Toontotalwar, thank you for the feedback. I'm not sure where your email went but I am not able to find it. Did you use the in app emailer? We just did a large update that fixed alot of bugs and issues. I hope you will reconsider giving the app another go.

Solid

Very VERY solid list builder. My only gripe is you can't export your list (at least that I've found)

A MUST HAVE FOR ANY SELF-RESPECTING BOLT ACTION PLAYER

For anyone reading this review weighing the price versus the benefits, let me tell you: ITS WORTH IT. For instance, one bolt action Army book is $30-$35 and one Theater sourcebook is like $20-$30. YOU CAN LITERALLY GET EVERY SINGLE ARMIES BOOK aNd SOURCEBOOK FOR A COUPLE BUCKS. That combined with the fact that the devs are constantly updating the app with new Armies and expansions as Warlord Games releases them. I am an avid tabletop player and jeez this app is a godsend. I think that the price scares away many would-be consumers but give it a chance. If anything, just help out the devs by supporting them - these guys totally deserve it.
