It is significantly more complex due to the 3D stacking of minefields. An uncovered square's adjacency includes squares on its level, as well as those directly above and below.
The free version offers 11 combinations of size and mine density, with four sizes (3x3x3 to 6x6x3) and five mine densities (4% to 20%).
The in-app purchase unlocks four additional sizes (7x7x3 to 10x10x3) and includes all five mine densities for each of these larger sizes, adding 29 more combinations.
