Nursing Central is by far one of the best apps to use as a student or in general practice. I speak from experience as a nurse for 40 years and as a nursing instructor for 15 years. It is a wealth of information that easily translates into knowledge necessary for safe, professional nursing practice.nurse today

High Annual Fee, Incomplete Resources
For what I pay per year, I wouldn’t think there would be more to buy in this app, but there is. You get a basic set of comprehensive resources for the annual fee, but if you want anything else you have to pay $50 or so for each extra manual (and there are several of them). I wouldn’t quite call this app a ripoff, but I also wouldn’t say I got my money’s worth, either.

honestly I couldn’t have survived the past few years of nursing school without this app. when I needed to make med cards the night before clinical, having all the meds in one centralized made studying/prepping much more time efficient and easier.
I found that I was able to make care plans more effective when I had this app as I guide. Yes, it even includes rationales.Show lessj1872

I am a nursing instructor. I have used nursing central as my primary clinical reference for 7 years. I have it loaded on my I phone and is easy to use.

I have tried to use this app during clinicals and find it frustrating especially since it doesn’t have autocorrect. I wind up looking things up on google because I don’t know the spelling and it does auto correct.Janwiggi
