Glitch

Great game thanks, however there seems to be a glitch now. The game won’t allow the Daily Challenge to be played. There is a note saying the wifi is not connected. My iPads clearly are. Has anyone else’s noticed this ?

This game is no longer challenging.

If you are not an advanced player, there are no problems with this app. If you are advanced and want to be challenged, this app is not for you. With random deals you should get a mixture of difficult and easy deals, but they are now all easy. Every “random” deal has aces near the bottom and rarely has any cards I need buried at the top. For my first 7000+ games, I had a 95% winning percentage (without using Undo to escape from jams), which means I lost 1 of every 20 games on average. At that point, difficult deals were eliminated, and in my 8000+ games since then, I have a 99.9% winning percentage, which means I lose 1 of every 1000 games on average (again, without using Undo to escape losses). I didn’t instantly become that good. As proof of that, I’ve started playing on a different app, and I’ve already lost 5 of my first 56 games. I’ve finally grown tired enough of the lack of challenge with this app that I’m canceling my subscription. If they ever create difficulty levels or make random deals be truly random again, I’d be happy to subscribe again.

Why does it need to store so much data.

Update: Deleted again when it had grabbed 1Gb of data. I can’t decide whether this is inept coding or some sort of nefarious attempt to persuade me to upgrade to increasingly inefficient new versions. Either way, I won’t be reinstalling it again.

The game is ok for keeping the brain ticking over in idle moments but I don’t understand why it needs to store so much in Documents and Data. I’ve just deleted it because it was using 4.6GB and reinstalled it so it’s only using 370MB. The only thing it needs to store are a few statistics, not my entire life history including photographs!!

Free cell solitaire

I have been enjoying tremendously that game for years. It is the best game ever, even at night when I woke up and cannot sleep…I played some parties and back to sleep. It helped me to train my brain and I have to finish it with brio otherwise I go back, back and back to the beginning and start again in order to finish it. It helps the mind in many ways and the older you get it is a very good medicine…I hope against Alzheimer’s !
