Not the best with AAC+ streams and no option to have stream Error go away automatically
When playing an AAC+ Stream, often the quality is lower than expected. However stopping and restarting the stream can fix it. In addition, if a stream for some reason stops playing, due to intermittent connection issue or other type of issues related airplay, an error message comes up and doesn’t go away automatically. I bought this app many years ago. It has become my go to radio app because it seems to have a great variety of stations. My only suggestion would be an interface refresh. Still, I am a satisfied customer. :-)jonstepro
Great app & Great Support
This app is one of my favorite top 3 apps, I use it everyday to record radio programs which saves me money from not having to purchase radio subscriptions. Also the ability to save recordings and playback at any point is great. Solid as a rock , play the radio or recordings all day long with your iPads protective case closed with no drain on your battery charge.Show lesswooleydaddith
Good update I didn't mind beta testing a bit
I am not certain how objective I can be as I was a beta tester for this update however I remember emailing the developer and asking about an update I used it on family sharing for a while but have just purchased it and I'm glad I did I do not mind putting a few jingles in the developers pocket as he makes the app accessible with voiceover which I appreciate however I would like to see a little improvement for the future versions of iOS in the dialogs and such that users are talking about my advice to those of you writing bad reviews would be to contact the app developer via the app support but he is receptive and does answer email so please do that I would be happy to help youShow lessLights rage
Great selection of feeds, iPad UI needs work
My main reason for purchasing this app is because of the large selection of feeds. That said - for a premium paid app, I would like to see a more refined UI (especially on the iPad). Would also love to see Apple Watch support...ahwman
Charging $5 for this outdated app is not acceptable
This app was designed for iOS 3 and 4. The previous time it was updated 5 years (!) ago (v.4.0.2) to support iOS 5. The current update 4.0.3 was done in February probably just to support launching the app in the recent iOS versions. The design of the app has not been changed since iOS 4. It absolutely looks terrible on iPhone 7 Plus and iPad Pro 12.9 (it officially supports iPad). The interface reminds me of the old Windows 3. Some dialog windows designed for mouse not for touch. It crashed at least once on my iPhone. Many streams fail to connect. Car Mode is a joke! This kind of apps should not be allowed in the App Store. They just generate revenue for these "developers" without them doing anything for years. And this is a $5 app!Show lessgordonusa

luckily i have a 4s but still pretty important to have

Wow!!! In 2011, I bought Tunein and it was great... for a while, that is. Once they started blocking stations, I went to Ootunes and never looked back. Even though an update was nonexistent for so long, I continued to use it because of the fact that I could stream almost any station I wanted and record live club broadcasts and mixshows. I also kept it around because Steve provided awesome customer service and gave me very doable work arounds to the bugs present within the app. I was presently surprised with this update and love all of the added features and long awaited bug fixes.
Over seven years ago, I put my money where my mouth was as a radio nerd at age 13. With no update, even then so, I still kept it on my phone and used it every single day almost all the time. It was worth every cent and worth the wait.Show lesswally walsh
Finally Updated
Have been using this app since the iPhone 4, and at first it was excellent, though the five or so year lack of updates from the developers caused a lot of functions to no longer work. I continued to use though, as this app accesses real world stations available nowhere else.
I was so happy to see this app on my update list- and even happier that the recording function is back!Show lessConreazy
Fantastic Radio Station App
The most content in one place. You have to know how to search some, but if it's out there to stream, OO Tunes can pull it in. With the latest update in February 2017, the app seems to again fully function with Bluetooth controls. Thanks again to the developer for taking the time and energy to modernize.Show lessLouBal

Best radio streaming app. I have been using this app since 2009. The last update was done in 2011, and it still seemed to work with latest iOS updates. Many features were not functioning, but the main just still worked. I don't remember being so excited for an update on an app until this one came out. Thank you for the update, at least I know this app is not dead. Please keep up with updates.Show lessslick6
