worth a try, one bug though
it's a fun little app! would be nice to have sensitivity setting but overall it's neat.
When you tap on the X on the ad, a blank window comes up and it cannot be dismissed or moved. Have to exit the app.aaiiii11
No longer supported?
As of 2016 with IOS 9.3.4, the settings for wifi data, etc, no longer work. Attempting to edit any text box shows only a grey box, no keyboard. Enabling the transmit data switch now locks up the app.
Was cool back in 2011, but needs some updates to comply with current apple dev standards and function properly.Show lessNotJustBecauseYouCan...

Worked ok on my iPhone 5...
However, on the iPhone 6, I cannot pause it once it's running, and I cannot close the banner at the top (Contribute to earthquake relief funds) either. It freezes in the running mode and becomes useless.
I've mentioned this on several occasions, but the App owner doesn't seem to care.
Disappointing...
Will have to look for another seismometer App... anything will be an improvement on this one and I suspect that App support will be available as well.Show lessCanuck415
Could be great
The sensitivity & features seem really great, but the app can only handle a few seconds of recording before it freezes up completely making it useless. Update to fix that and it gets five stars.pow pow powerwheels

I use this for analyzing postural tremor with the fast fourier transform function. I simply have the patient hold out one hand while holding my phone. You can also use distraction maneuvers with the opposite hand.Petals Fall

Since the developers site it down, I'll post here.
I have been using this app since my 3GS and its been flawless.
I have iOS 8 running on my 4S and the new 6. Still works great on the 4S but the buttons lock up every time on anything running iOS8. No keyboard control at all. Reloaded it twice with the same result.
So if the developer has left this app behind, I guess I will too. There are several apps as good and better than this. Too bad..Show lessWantStuff2Work

I tried to use the e-mail feature on my iPhone 6 and the keyboard area goes blank but the keyboard doesn’t show up.phillman5

Transmit causes lock up
Good app for simple needs. But when transmit signal is switched on the app locks up (on an iPhone 6, iOS 8.1).
I use this for kids outreach events to have them build a structure to be shook on a shake table for earthquakes, and see what kind of accelerations their building experiences. Having data transmission would really help speed up some analysis to give the kids results.Show lessAdrian-Crowder
