Paris & Los Angeles as word of the day? Please give more meaningful words. Also, two days in a row the croatian word was "new" with an english definition for a number (8,000). Lastly, the woman speaker has a slight Italian accent.YoCatie

Needs better vocabulary
This is a great practice for understanding a difficult language, because it reminds you every day to simply practice one word. However I have been occasionally disappointed by lazy choices (like "Zagreb - insert a name of a city from your country"), or an audible pronunciation that doesn't match the written word. Also the page us excruciatingly slow to load. However I'll put up with slow pages if there is a little more effort on word choices. This is why I haven't purchased the pay version. I wouldn't bother
yes it gives you a word a day as it says, but the most useless words you can imagine. e.g instead of "how are you?" or "my name is..." Some of the words and phrases in my word bank are: Floatation device Contraband Report Office worker To Take a Picture Not a great place to start if you are wanting to learn the language, maybe it could be useful if you were simply wanting to expand you knowlegde.Show lessViewer
