I was working with an App developer to diagnose an AirPrint issue. Found out about this service. His program never worked and I purchased a Plan B program. Well worth the 3 bucks
I do embedded systems work, and I recently used this app to test my implementation of Bonjour/Zeroconf on some network devices. It works very well. I also use it at home to quickly check if my kids have left their computer on, as well as at wi-fi hotspots to determine if a printer is available.Jonathan in CT
Incredibly useful even in surprising ways.
So have you ever even considered the sheer number of Bonjour services that are running on a single computer? I didn't, and I found out that I accidentally forgot to disable ssh on my computer and that a freakish amount of information about my shared iTunes Library and Bonjour in Adium can be discovered with this app. It is so ridiculously useful from a network admin point of view, and I can't even begin to imagine how helpful this would be to any developer trying to debug Bonjour issues.
