First of all I am well acquainted with OS maps and mapping software. I have both a GPS and Sat-Nav.
This app seemed to have a lot of promise but I could not get it to do anything useful for me. It is not very intuitive and I cannot get locations in either Lat/Long or OS map references.
The ability to Mark out a track would be great with map referenced waypoints.
I would pay a good sum for this sort of facility.

Well designed useful app
I travel a lot for work and combine that with any opportunity to go walking in interesting areas. Often only having a few hours to spare between commitments or stopping off en route somewhere. This app enables me to quickly record where I've been, including photos, and review the trip later. It has all the elements of a good app: simple to use while seamlessly integrating the iPhone's clever technology. It's as essential to me as my walking boots.Show lessThe iCritic

Very easy to use and log a trip on the road.

A few small niggles: sometimes the tag button stops working; the map often opens at the global level, rather than the last level used. But mostly, an excellent app.julius-reviews
GPS will not work offline!
Though the app description says this will detect GPS location without an Internet connection it does not. Thus makes the app useless when traveling internationally when you do not have wireless data. I tried again and again to get a GPS location with my 3G phone in London and Berlin. I was outside, but moved to the middle of a huge park just to give a better GPS signal. I stood there for 15 minutes. Nothing!Show lessmacmad6
