My “Go To Doc” App!
I love Documents and have used this app since 2013! It has seriously been a lifesaver when working on portable devices before and after having my Google acct. I’ve been able to use this app with my iPad, iTouch, and iPhone as my main document repository for many years. Even now, it is one of my main docs app, and I back up these documents to Google & iCloud. I love Documents
Being a minister, I use documents to prepare each sermon that I present to people. Documents is used solely for this purpose, and I am able to comfortable store messages and have been able to compile them for over 4 years. I can refer at any given time to old messages, exerts, notes taken and just simple random thoughts. I do miss the abilities to highlight in another color and save. The old version allowed this feature, but the newest version allows you to highlight in another color, but does not save it in the selected color.Show lessBigg-yo

My experience has been that any data I created was deleted when I deleted the app. I think the data should have been able to be preserved outside of this app and can’t believe it wasn’t. I am writing this review so people will know they will steal your data or delete your data without your consent. If you don’t save it to iCloud if you keep it on your device and use this app to create your content, they will steal your data or disappear your data. So kiss it goodbye there’s no way to save it if you use this app. It would also appear that their review history is completely bogus. If you will notice all their most recent apps, reviews are five stars from unrecognizable accounts that are bots. BEWARE this app! Apple needs to remove this app from the store and ban it permanently.Show lessrt66lady
Trying again to post review
I try posted a review this morning and it does not appear. It was not a good review as I am having problems! I purchased a new IPad in November and now I can not get the fonts in this app to work. I have a lot of documents saved but can not change them or change the font. I tried doing a new document and still unable to change font and size. Why should I have to pay for an upgrade if the free program is already installed on my IPad? Wonder if they will post this or just delete?Show lessPaula 0150

Something in between my iPad and PC
It is awesome to find something that can be a bridge from one platform to another and not have to go out and buy hundreds of dollars worth of software programs to achieve my goals. By using documents I was able to dictate, cut and paste, transfer and print off of word with my standard PC. I have yet to find any issues with this app it’s been great.Show lessAlleyandRogue2014
I’ve used this app often & for maybe a decade.
I've used this app after trying other ones. It has become so dependable and exactly what I need that I finally purchased it a few years ago. There are a couple difficulties using it but it still is my go to.To Truly Know
Great for Retirees
This block scheduling idea is amazing for seniors. As a retiree I found I was spending WAY too long on Social Media apps and watching tv. This allows me to carve out specific blocks of time for the things I enjoy doing but not waste the entire day on them. Now I know when to stop, which I predetermined, and get busy.Show lessBeckyBurn
Missing true Dropbox integration
To edit a file in Dropbox, first you have to find the document, but there’s no “search” features in this app. So I search in the Dropbox app. Then I have to download the document, which loses the context of which Dropbox folder the document was stored inside. After editing locally, I tap the “Save” button and all I see is “Local Files”, not Dropbox. I suspect that even if I could save to Dropbox it would make me find the folder again.
This is way too many steps, and I never know if the local copy is the latest version (others may have edited the file in Dropbox) or even if I’ve saved my version to Dropbox. IOW, this app doesn’t sync changes in both directions, which treats Dropbox as just another disk without collaborators, which is not the point of cloud storage.Show lessgreggT555
