9.0

May 16, 2016

Updated for iOS 9 Fixed sharing issue on Withings data download Added ability to read blood pressure, pulse, and weight data from Apple Health Changed format for CSV Backup to use epoch time since some date formats now have commas which caused problems Added 2 version formats for importing CSV data with dates that contain commas Changed app icon iBP is now able to read and write Apple Health blood pressure, pulse, and weight data. If your blood pressure monitor (i.e., Omron, iHealth, Withings) adds data to Apple Health then you can easily import that data into this app. If you manually input your data into this app, then it will write that data to Apple Health. Please make a backup of your data using CSV Backup or iTunes File Sharing before downloading the update. You should not lose any data by downloading the update but it is always a good idea to have a backup. Positive ratings and reviews really help, please take the time to submit one. If you have any questions or concerns about this app, please send us an email at ibp@leadingedgeapps.com. Posting a negative review doesn’t help because we can’t respond and don’t always see the review.

April 7, 2015

* Updated to support iOS 8, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6+ * Added Apple Health (see notes below) * Added Touch Id for passcode on devices that support it * Changed Summary view to allow time period selection iBP will now save your blood pressure, pulse, and weight to Apple Health. You will need to enable the setting “Add to Apple Health” and then authorize iBP to have write access to Apple Health. Apple Health does not support multiple users so this setting only applies to the primary iBP user. Please note that only NEW data is added to Apple Health. The reason for this is the possible duplication of data from Withings accounts. We hope to add support for reading data from Apple Health for Withings users soon. Readings that are added to Apple Health will now display a “+” on the Log screen under the colored circle. If you use the Wifi Transfer capability to synchronize data on multiple devices any data that is transferred is not added to Apple Health. This means that you should enter new data on your iPhone and then transfer to the iPad. The iPad currently does not support Apple Health. You can manually move data to Apple Health by editing a reading and then pressing the Save button. Please make a backup of your data using CSV email or iTunes File Sharing before downloading the update. You should not lose any data by downloading the update but it is always a good idea to have a backup. Positive ratings and reviews really help, please take the time to submit one. version 7.2 * Fixed weight preset value on iPad for Add Reading view * Increased size of popover views on iPad version 7.1 * Fixed issue where text was truncated when the device setting for Bold Text is on * Added weight back to the dials for the Add/Edit Reading view along with status color icons * Fixed problem with Withings download that caused the app to crash when account email or password were incorrect * Changed global tint color for buttons and other controls to blue instead of red. Apparently, red makes people angry. version 7.0 * Redesigned for iOS 7 and iPhone 5 * Added PDF email format that includes readings and graphs * Added download of comments data from Withings * Added setting to show current user name on top of most views * Changed to tab bar controller which allows you to reorder the tabs however you want using the Edit button on the More view Important Notes: We received some negative feedback about the last update (version 7.0). The theme of iOS 7 is less chrome and more focus on content. We removed some images because they are considered chrome. The flat toolbars, borderless buttons, and new look for the number dials are part of iOS 7 and out of our control. Apple will not accept any app updates that do not use the new iOS 7 SDK. Please make a backup of your data using CSV email or iTunes File Sharing before downloading the update. You should not lose any data by downloading the update but it is always a good idea to have a backup. Positive ratings and reviews really help, please take the time to submit one. Reviews of iBP Blood Pressure

  • Very useful app but lacking one very important (to me) feature

This is a very useful app; I have been using it for a number of years now. I have no major issues with the app with one major exception: why is there no way to export the raw data for importing into a spreadsheet or database on the PC? I love the app for its ease of entering the data but am very frustrated by not being able to massage this data outside the app.
  • Excellent Product

I almost forgot I had this app. I am the type that I am always looking for the next "better" app. I find this is that "better" app. Easy to use and I share it with my doctor. Other apps may have additional options but Pareto's Law comes into play. Stick with something that works - like this app.
  • I’ve been using this app for nine years!

From day one I’ve loved this app. When the latest update removed the ability to scroll back through the data I was truly disappointed. Please bring this feature back. It’s vital to be able to see your progress over time.
