I don’t care that the game has ads but most of them are for miracle weight loss cures and life insurance policies. It makes the game feel dirty.

The annual subscription is a scam!
I purchased the annual subscription in order to access the additional levels and features and nothing has been unlocked. What a waste of money.

Navigating the user interface is not intuitive, but you can start to work around it. The ads can be annoying, but not the end of the world. Lots of stuff stuck behind a paywall. The final straw for me is it’s not randomly opening my safari browser and telling me I won something; I wasn’t even touching the screen at one point when it happened. Super sketchy. No thanks! Uninstalled.

Getting worse after every update
I have been playing this game on and off for years. The game originally didn’t have ads (or had very few) and has progressively gotten more and more, and it has now escalated too far. I have no issue with an app having ads in it, but if you’re getting them popping up every 5 seconds then it’s quite frankly ridiculous.

Game used to be good
Too many ads and the game makes it impossible to set up a new game and change the dimensions of the board. This used to be my go to version but now I would recommend looking somewhere else. Why do game companies do this, just be minesweeper for crying out loud!
Too many ads, not designed for mobile
After every game, there’s a full screen ad. Ever time you switch back to the app, there’s a full screen ad. During games themselves, there’s a horizontal ad at the bottom of the screen. The price for premium doesn’t justify it imo.
Games are more wide than they are vertical. Changing device orientation doesn’t do anything.
Some games are determined by chance rather than solving. Sometimes when you get to the end, it’s a 50/50 on where mines are. Can be frustrating because of this.
