Description of Glasses

Have you ever been in a grocery store, frustrated from not being able to read the nutritional information on a package? Or have struggled to read the menu in a dark restaurant, and then later can't figure out how much to pay because you can't read the bill? It's easy to feel frustrated in situations when you forget to bring your glasses. Well, now with Glasses for the iPhone, you will always have your "Glasses" with you. You can use the digital magnifier, with flashlight, to view anything from fine print to tiny objects up to 12x magnification. You can also use the front-facing camera as a "cosmetic mirror". Using just a single thumb you can seamlessly: 1. Double tap to quickly zoom in or out 6x. 2. Swipe sideways to continuously zoom in or out. 3. Shaky hands? Tap and hold to freeze the image. 4. Without lifting a finger, immediately start panning the image. 5. Zoom in and out of the image, either by double tapping or using the convenient slider. Your most recent 8 images are automatically archived for you. Images can also be saved permanently to your camera roll. Glasses is one app you will always want to have with you!

Reviews of Glasses

  • Great app.

This was exactly what I was looking for and works better than expected. If you have a friend or family member that has problems reading the small print this is the tool for you.
  • Handy says it all

My eyes aren’t what they once were and I need glasses to read. Not with Covid going on there’s the need to wear a mask when I go to the store. Glasses wearers can tell you that the mask causes your glasses to fog up constantly. Using the GLASSES app I don’t need my glasses when I go to the store. What a help. Additionally i took a sliver out of my foot the other day using this app.
  • glasses when needed

I had cataract surgery about 2 1/2 years ago and now I can see far away but not close up. It was just the opposite. It is frustrating. I magnified small printing on a computer casing but was shaking enough to where it was still hard to read but I went ahead and snapped a picture and it came out clear and readable. Thanks for making life a little bit easier.
