Great app
I don't know why everyone is on here ripping the app. Because it has ads? ... Just like radio does? I mean it obviously has some ads usually right during the actual show has commercials, nothing wrong with that. Great app loads every time. Happy with it as usual!!R5DE
Even more ads with the latest version
As if sports radio didn't already have enough advertising. We already have to listen to commercial breaks every few minutes and now there's a mandatory mortgage ad that you have to watch every time you start a stream, even if the announcers are currently talking. You also have to have the app open and not running in the background to get past it. It's getting to be too much. C'mon guys :(
The new UI is also not as concise. More clicking and scrolling required to get to the on demand content.

Bad upgrade
UPDATE:***
Just learned how to play the podcasts in the background.
1st listen to the "live" broadcast for a few seconds, the pause it.
After that you can open any podcast and listen to it while it is in the background or with your phone locked.
Not sure why but it works every time.****
Long time listener by streaming and podcasts. This upgrade still hasn't fixed this app! Can't stream or podcast while the app runs in the background or even when you lock your device. Batteries die that way in no time. So, that being said, I can't listen anymore. So sad as I love all the daytime shows.Show lessBig B so sad
This used to be my favorite, most used app. Not anymore!
Unbelievable...this app is pretty much useless if you use it for podcasts. Whoever approved the changes should be canned. Don't update if you have the old version (with the black and red icon). If you did update, you may be able to restore the old version via iTunes and listen (and easily find) the podcasts again.
I have the old version so I can still listen to Big Al's and D-mac's podcasts' every day. There are no commercials and the shows are broken into hour long segments. Excellent...if you have the old app. Hopefully they fix this oneShow lesssomedumbgamer

How many people, saying the same things, will it take for The Fan to fix this app?
It is quite possibly the WORST designed app in the history of... appdom.
From having to scroll through webstyle pages to find episodes, to the fact that it won't play in the background, this app seems intent on killing users through frustration, confusion or merely taking 74 steps to get to a program.
The old app was delightful! Click on a show, click on an episode, listen to show, disagree with Haynes, keep listening.
This app is ten miles worth of steps backwards as far as user interface. It is great to read about the origins of the hosts on the show and seeing banner adds for sponsors. There has to be some happy middle, right?
In case I wasn't clear, this app blows. It's Colorado Rockies bad. Both the Hockey Rockies and the Baseball Rockies. It's Ted Gregory bad. It's Maurice Clarett bad. It's Joe Kopecki bad. Get it? Bad.

Unfortunate app update
To echo the sentiments of every review of this update, particularly the first review, please bring back the former version of the fan app!! Previous to the day I downloaded the update, I listened daily to the podcasts of the morning show, and Sandy and Scott. The podcasts were divided into hour long segments, so I'm using the player, one can simply scroll to the show you want to listen to, tap on the desired segment, and then tap on whichever one you want. The beauty of that is you could listen to some or all of one segment while exercising or driving for example, and later when you have a little spare time, start where you left off or listen to the next segment.
This update doesn't offer that. You have to listen to the whole show, and manually fast forward to the section you want to listen to. If you exit out of the app, the podcasts and live broadcast turns off which renders it useless if you need to send emails or whatever while still keeping the broadcast going. The podcasts were so efficiently organized on the prior version. So disappointing! Please fix these bugs-Show lesscolrgar

Terrible new Update
The 104.3 app is definitely one of my most used apps on my iPhone, but the new update is so frustrating! I nod towards the ambition of trying to add a bunch more information and functionality, but unfortunately it's at the cost of all the matters (imho.) all I care about is listening to "The Drive" podcast whenever I get the time. This new update makes it so much harder to find my episodes and also I'm unable to lock my phone and use it for other things while I'm listening! The old update version was perfect and functioned in a simple and trusting way. This update needs more usability!Show lessMehhtindersosad
Horrible update
The new version of the app is awful. First off: The app most of the time won't play as I get this message most of the time: "There was a problem downloading the audio." That right there make it useless to even have on my phone. Also, I used to be able to leave the app and do other tasks while listening to a live stream or podcast. Impossible now and very inconvenient. This brings me to my final point where are the podcasts from past shows? That is a big mistake not having them. Much of the time I had to go back and listen to shows at a later date because I live out of state. Now no podcasts at all!!?? This is terrible! Please fix these issues.
Once again:
1. Most of the time the app does not even play and displays the following message. "There was a problem downloading the audio."
2. You can't leave the app to do other things while still listening to the content as it stops when you leave.
3. No place to listen to previous podcasts!

Kind of a disaster
The previous app functioned just fine for listening purposes. This version is effectively useless, since the audio stream stops whenever the app is made inactive by switching to another window or whenever the energy saving settings turn the screen to black. There are extra navigation steps for locating and playing the audio podcasts. The media player is improperly formatted for mobile use, making scrolling impossible, which causes the fast forward and rewind functions to be practically inoperable. I suggest the developers revert to the prior version of the app until they can make the current one useful, since currently it is useless.Show lessFæo
