  • Great app

Great resource for clinicians and people with aphasia. Does not include thurough list of icons, but a great tool for introducing aac to new pts and family members. Would want an actual device for every day use, but this gives you a good idea of what the lingraphica is like.
  • Good as far as it goes

Would be wonderful if you could set up your own phrases and use your own pictures
  • Thanks!

This is a great app. The icons are excellent and the voice is very clear.
  • Bummer

As an occupational therapist I was excited about this program to share with my CVA patients. I was unable to get the program to work for me as everytime I selected Small Talk Aphasia the program would take me back to my ipod home page. I feel this program would be very helpful for my patients and am disapointed that I can't recommend it as even I am unable to use it.

  • Disappointed

This new version is not moving foward. I downloaded it fine, and when I try to use this application it goes straight back to my ipod's home screen. Please help-this looks to be a wonderful application and I was looking foward to learning more about it. Please help. Thanks
  • Voice for the Voiceless

The Small Talk, based on the Lingraphica dedicated communication device, is a real find for those folks with communication challenges who need an easy and quick portable method to express their basic needs graphically with speech output. The free application, which is downloaded easily onto an iphone or touch ipod via the itunes software, is amazing. Even with its limited vocabulary, it provides immediate access to a set of prestored "emergency" vocabulary. Thank you Lingraphica for your generosity!

  • Add gender option

I use this app with my 10 yr old grandson who is able to understand but not able to speak due to neurological impairment. I think this app would also benefit some autistic children in communicating, in addition to other kids with neurological impairments. I love that I never have to remember to pack up something else (another communication device) because I always have my phone with me. He loves it, too..just wish one thing could be added. I would love to see option to chose a man's or a woman's voice. I would gladly pay for that. I would pay even more if I could choose a child's voice with a gender option. I have been showing this app to speech therapists and special education teachers. We all agree. If it had the gender option I would have given it 5+stars!
