Not happy

I want to know about garbage and recycling days; I don't see an easily accessible way on this app to see this. The rest of the app may be fine but this little issue gets my goat and therefore, I am not a fan.

311 St John's App

This is a fabulous app. As I'm walking my dog I often see over flowing garbage containers, garbage, etc. You can create a request, take a picture which assigns the coordinates and submit on the spot. Often if you wait till you arrive home, it's forgotten. Good on ya' City Council!

CSJ 311

I give this 3/5 stars (good and useful, but ready for improvement) and use it frequently!
This is a good App that improves the ability of citizens to report issues in town. City response to 311app notices is relatively quick.

Screens are simple and pull down menus cover a good range of topics.

Improvements suggested:
-indication of report status on summary screen and on map
-more detailed feedback from city staff (opened/notified/assigned/closed/postponed) appear to be only options. 'Closed' sometimes means rectified, sometimes means that the city is not going to to anything about it, resulting in a re-sent report.
-keep the option open for reporter to comment after work is done so that any missed items or offers of thanks can be made.
- if a duplicate report is being filed, allow the reporter to see the earlier file, and then have the option to simply add to the existing report- this would reduce the number of incoming reports on a per-issue basis.

Has potential

Not loving this at all. Tried to submit a report but the menus and text fields were so jumpy I got frustrated and gave up. Hopefully this will be improved soon because I love the idea

Great App!!

Works flawlessly so far
