Just Upgraded To Documents2
I have been using the Documents app for about 9 months, and never had any issues during that period. I recently upgraded to Documents2, and it has also worked great. I like how I can use Firefox or IE to access my Document2 App using Wi-Fi, so I can transfer files to and from my PC. I also like how they integrated Google Docs access into the App, so I can manage all my files from one location. The App won't let you transfer directories when using your browser to transfer files. You have to transfer one file at a time. but it would nice to be able to transfer folders, so you can transfer multiple files at one time. Overall Documents2 is a great App, and enjoy using, and could see this app around for many more versions.Show lessTerry McManus
Bit disappointing
Good if you want only a VERY simple spreadsheet program. Would be good if you could cut and paste easily within the doc and also between docs.Carrie909

I have used the word document and paint and tables and so Farsi good, they are not perfect but pretty close I use it mostly to jot down bits for my book writing, for this job it is great I can jot or even write a bit then put it on a pen drive and upload it to a programme on my laptop and format it and just slide it into my main document it's great, it can be used for so many things. I find I,m using it more and more,especially since I got this stylus,together they work plenty good enough for me thank you.Show lessWiggle waggle smooch smooch
Solid, few probs
2 issues:
- when using a bluetooth keyboard, the text page is half blocked by a blank space where the touchscreen keyboard would be. This needs immediate fixing. thank you
- Wifi Sharing is inconsistently functional. Works better, though not flawlessly, with firefox ('...' button in this browser is non-functional)
Otherwise, a solid app. FILING IS A TREMENDOUS ASSET. The next step would be to get this thing writing in .doc format. There are currently not apps providing a solid .doc compatible writer - TAKE ADVANTAGEShow lessclysthenes
Waste of effort
what use is an app that transfers only PART of the document? The text in cells appears but no actual numbers that you want to see and edit!!!
this app is a great example of why you need to spend a bit extra to buy something that works..like Numbers.JJH in NZ
Doesn't work want my money back
Tried uploading and doweling through wifi but it just hangs and doesn't work. Preceded to try using google docs even signed up as a new user for it just so I could use the ap, but to my dismay it still doesn't work properly. It recognised the doc gave me 2 options one to preview and one to download. The download option was greyed out and the preview option keeps asking me to login to google again but doesn't work.
This ap actually does nothing. It's completely useless and is being miss sold. Do not buy! Waste if money and would like a refund.Show lessJojo_1986

What a joke……..this app doesn't do what it says it does re g-docs sync or wifi sync.
As the support is non existent and 5 emails have gone unanswered, Apple should get this app out of the store.

Paid money for an app that CONSTANTLY crashes
Would love to get my money back! LOVE the spreadsheet capabilities, etc. unfortunately, I can barely use it. I havent really tried anything other than the spreadsheet. I literally have to hit save after every single cell! The app crashes CONSTANTLY which is why I haven't tried anything else yet. It is pretty clunky to use for the spreadsheet, but since this is all that's available on the iPad, I'm fine with it. I can't even count how many times I've lost all my work because the app crashes and the so-called "auto-save" literally has a snapshot of the spreadsheet from when I originally opened it before I even made the changes that I lost. Why doesnt "auto save" save your work maybe every minute or two?? I have never been so frustrated with an app before. It's a little better than the last useless spreadsheet app that I bought
It doesn't really have all the functions of a spreadsheet....one particularily important one is the ability to sort. It is a little misleading when the free version tells u to buy the full version to unlock all of it's functions, I don't see any more functions available since I gave them my money except I have more than 50 lines available now. Good but needs improvements
I first tried the free version and thought that for the very cheap price of the full version it would be a good idea to purchase the upgrade.
Well, it installs a completely new version and now I have plenty of file in the free version that I need to upload again to the paid one.
Here comes the limitation of the upload by wi-fi. Only one file at the time is allowed. If you have many files maybe the Google mail option is better but I don't have an account.
The files and folders always are shown in 'edit' mode. Although a confirmation is always requested, it could be easy to delete file and folders. For safety, there should be an 'edit' button providing additional protection.
All in all is good, considering the price. Hopefully, new versions will solve these problems.Show lessGuggo2001
