Great for free...
But I would never buy it. It's free so why is anyone complaining? It's not a fishing simulator, so don't get it if you are looking for something like that. It's more of a race and try to beat the clock game. And to all the people that r saying it's impossible to get 40 fish in 30 seconds, you obviously didn't play the game for very long because each fish is worth at least 5 points. 5x8=40... not that hard.Show less3ebkid
Good game
It makes a great boredom buster arcade game for the iPhone. Note to those who download this: fans of actual fishing games will not be pleased. It's not a fishing simulator. Although its porpose is a little misleading, the game is fun, pretty solid, and accomplishes what it was actually made for.CaseyLAY
The thing is...
The game has good graphics however my un-hacked iPod touch cannot provide a stable frame-rate making it very difficult to control the game. (there is a lag when you move) If the coding was optimized or the graphics were scaled back this could be a fun little game. I do think it is a little dumb not to include game play instructions but it is fairly straight forward. -Love the device left / right to move -Move device up /down to control the depth of the fishing line -When a fish is thrown in the air maneuver your boat to catch it.Show lessWooHoo2You

Tilt right/left to move boat, up/down to move hook.
If you were a fan of Donkey Kong Country for the old game boy, one of the minigames is almost EXACTLY like this.

Fun to play ( once you learn how )
I wish this came with a tutorial, but after a little bit of trial and error I was able to figure out what it wanted me to do. Overall, an interesting concept and fun to play. I wish there were more
levels / fish. I also did experience
some frustration when hooking fish on the extreme right or left ( boat was not able to move just a cm more to land

Fun, addictive, but too short
I'd like to see more levels, and maybe a new mode, don't forget new fish, in an update. Possibly the option to switch to touch controls.

Not terrible
Nice graphics and it's a fun idea. But the controls are not that great. Touch controls would be much better. How can you see what you are doing if you have to tilt away all the time. Would rather swipe to move the boat and tap to pull up the hook. This is identical to a Japanese pc game I have. But it's more fun with a mouse than tilting.Show lessFunky Monkeytron
Honest review. Good for free, could be better
Ok. Got this for free. Would have been disappointed if I paid for it. A few suggestions. Add the option of tapping the screen to reel in the line instead of having to tilt the phone. Tilting the phone while trying to direct the boat by tilting side to side makes for a frustrating experience. Also definitely need more levels. Maybe add some fishing in the dark levels where your bait glows to illuminate a small area around the hook. Needs something extra to keep me playing. Not sure what but needs something. Good game bad developers
I like this app... I am giving it 2 stars mostly because the developers posted and it is extremely annoying... Don't think we don't know you are the developers... This could use something extra... Right now it gets boring after a while... When you get 2 fish in the air and catch them make it a combo... Also add things like acheivments like 20 fish without dropping one... And maybe an endless level where you keep going until you get shocked x amount of times... Right now it's good for a free app but I wouldn't pay muchShow lessVcjesusfreak

Wow, look at all those 5 star reviews from Daisy 99, mscarim and tayyba, they forgot to mention that they're the developers of this game, check their previous reviews.
