Great app, but needs bring up to 2019 standards
Been using it since March 2010 and still use it today. It works and works very well. I have multiple numbers and works flawlessly with them all. My only complaint is the inability to block numbers, I get numerous spam/harassing calls and it would be a useful feature. Please do it I’m sure it would give your app the edge.
Edit: Thanks for the reply. I can see it has Callkit but rejected calls still show as missed calls in Softphone and trigger the badge notification. Any way of fixing this?Show lessStevePowell0

Since I bought the app, for a less than 24 hours I’ve received 7 spam calls, what I did not receive for 6 years of owning my number. You guys sharing our account details with someone or you have weak security issues on your servers?
UPDATE:
This app registers your account on cloud server located in New York (USA, ip 162.243.226.164) and someone uses you credentials to make calls. As result you are getting back lot of unwanted calls every day. Looks like someone spying on you.
And the company guys says they are not having any servers to register your account...
My suggestion is STAY AWAY. THIS IS A PIECE OF JUNK!Show lessAka uz

We do not share your account details with anyone. Note that your account credentials are not needed if anyone wants to call you, just knowing or guessing your DID number is enough. Acrobits Softphone is a SIP client app, if there is an incoming call, it will ring. We are not a SIP service provider - you should solve this with your VoIP operator. They should be able to tell who called you and from where and potentially put the spammers on blacklist. In our email exchange, we said we don't operate any SIP servers. The IP address you mention is a server which helps deliver notifications about incoming calls to your device via Apple Push Notification Service. This server does not make any calls, it notifies your device in case there is an incoming call. I am sorry you are receiving spam phone calls, but our app is not to blame.All good
They fixed the really annoying camera issue! That was my only complaint. Great app!WLands

I am sorry you are having issues with the app. We're not aware about any problems related to camera. Our app doesn't touch camera unless there is an active video call, it's a telephony app after all. Please contact us at support@acrobits.net and we can troubleshoot. As for the battery consumption, with iOS 12 made things really a bit worse when using "standard" incoming call mode. Fortunately, you can use the default "push" mode, which does not consume any extra battery power and still lets you receive your incoming calls. Edit: actually, we have found the camera issue! It's quite strange, voice calls made through our app somehow interfere with autofocus in system Camera app. The next update will contain a workaround for this. Calls are too important to rely on free software and the fee for this app is far outweighed by the benefits it brings. Simply the best and easiest I have used and I think I have tried them all.gdfyujgrdfhu

After purchasing this app many months ago I’ve finally tried it with the FlyNumber wwPBX. Believe I’ve set it up with proper account info, yet every couple days SoftPhone gives me a pop up message that my FlyNumber account has expired on the push server. Huh. I know my account hasn’t expired on FlyNumber, but who is running the server mentioned? Where do I get help on this? Giving SoftPhone the shadow of doubt, I’ve rated it 3 stars even though it hasn’t yet served for a single phone call.Show lessOpn7
