I cannot even tell you how much I love the recent update that allows a box set to be recorded as a single entry. I never knew the best way to request it or explain what I really wished there was, but your term of “single entry” is exactly what I had been looking for (for a long time). Thank you so much! Just What I was Looking for…
With 450 movies in an Excel spreadsheet, it was becoming difficult & cumbersome to manage additions, deletions & changes…. CLZ is SO much easier to use and includes useful movie & TV series info that I previously had to search for, from across various sites on the net. Definitely recommended.Trailflix
Collectors—this is the only app you need
There are dozens of movie collector apps but none come close to CLZ’s movie database. It is consistently updating to make it easier for collectors to keep track of your movies. My collection is huge so this app, which I’ve been using since it was its original release, has everything you need to catalogue your movies. With streaming becoming more popular, I still purchase Blu-ray/DVD’s because the shows may not be available for streaming once they run their course through streaming services. CLZ’s core database is loaded with so much information that you’ll never have to look up who was in that movie or who produced or directed it. This is the only database you need. I would also recommend their comic and book databases. Your movies seamlessly sync to iPads, smartphones, and your Mac or PC. If you have a large collection, as I do, you can’t go wrong with CLZ apps.Show lesszogman
A great, easy to use app
Back in 2006, I was searching for a movie cataloging app and after trying a few, found the CLZ desktop movie app was the best one. When the CLZ iOS app was released, I fell in love with it because now my catalogue was with me wherever I would be in the world. This App overflows with features and support.
Hands down this is the best movie database on the market. It’s not just a database that catalogues thousands of movies. You can use the barcode to enter the movie or manually if you don’t have a barcode. It links each one to IMDB, setting out a synopsis and rating of the movie, provides a cast list, director and crew, you can search by genre, actor ,director etc., has a random shake function that can pick a movie for you if you can’t decide.
Apart from all the features what I like most about this app is the support that is provided with it. It is regularly updated, with new features added and the help desk is extremely helpful with prompt replies if there is an issue.
There is a small subscription fee but the support and the updates are worth it. Also, what I have paid in subscriptions, I have saved many times over by referring to the app and avoiding duplicate purchases.
I cannot recommend this app highly enough.

A great app
I just downloaded this app and have only used it for a few days, but I had been comparing different movie cataloging apps and this one definitely checks all my boxes. I love that I can easily share a webpage with friends to view what movies I have and the meta data for each movie. The customer support couldn’t be any better, when I had a question they answered almost immediately and went above and beyond to get everything sorted out. Almost perfect: Lacking a filter option
This is a great app for keeping track of your movie collection. The only thing missing is a filter option. There sort of is a filter option, but they’re “folders”. When you select folders it then created a panel on your screen with folders. This changes the whole layout on your screen and the folders section doesn’t go away after you select, for example, genre > horror. You need to resize all the windows to make it easier to search what you just “filtered” via the folders. Excellent program
I have had this program almost from when it started as just a windows program. Now it is a full blown app. I have had very few issues with this app. When I have had a problem I contacted them and within a day or two I get a response and it is fixed. I have four of their apps and they are all great. If you collect music movies comics books you need these apps. Highly recommend these products.Show lessNsafellow
