Very Disappointed in the Makers of this App
I have enjoyed this app until now. I am deleting it from my phone because you have chosen to take out Psalm 137:9. Yes, it may be shocking, but YES it is taken out of context--as are many scriptures. Are you just going to pick and choose the Bible verses you--or the people--want to hear?? Are you only going to use scriptures that never offend anyone or that everyone likes?! It's ridiculous! Jesus said things ALL THE TIME that offended people. The Bible even warns that in the last days people will want a watered down gospel and want their "ears tickled". Please stay true to the Word of God. He will honor you for it. Anyone who turns away from the gospel because of that verse a) probably isn't interested in "the truth" anyway and b) has not spent enough time with God to know His heart or to balance it with the rest of scripture. I feel you have disrespected the Bible by taking the verse out and it offends me as a Christian for anyone to do that. Please reconsider and add it back in. God bless.Show lessBrand New user

Everyone in this world needs a daily random reminder that Jesus died for for a opportunity to walk through life with us. That there is "no one".... No 1 is ever alone. Plz update
If you could plz update this app to show bible verses everyday at 12:00 instead of it telling me - "Its time to learn something" and then I have to click on the app and find out. It would be a lot easier if u could do that. Thanks. But other then that i Iove the app it helps me much. God bless you.Olivka farmer
Almost perfect?
Great for a daily scripture verse(s) ... Saving verses to favorites was easy, but would be even better if one could do something other than email the "favorites". It would be so much more useful if we could use the favorites as memory verses ... I.e. If we could scroll through them alone. Maybe even put them in categories for meditation, etc.Show lessISam12:24
Lovely but verses can be random
This is the best-looking interface I've seen from the selection of free daily verses (I found the ads to be unobtrusive) but it seems to be a shuffle of literally every verse in the Bible - I got one that was from a genealogical passage. You'll definitely get the Word, but this may or may not be the inspiration you're looking for. I'm deleting this one & using Barbara Lehrman's daily passage & commentary instead (I had never heard of her until someone referenced her free app in another review, but I like what I've seen so far).Show lessBurtram

Dear God,
I didn't see this app yet because it is loading. I have cried out I GOd because I didn't do something right (no i'm not pregnat) but I cried to God for help and I always will from this day forward I want to live my life for God and love him I have asked for forgivness and I hope he will forgive me I asked him to purify my body and I can't wait till he has please bring others into Gods kingdom!! Hits the Spot!
A must have. Have had an iPhone from day one and have never submitted a review... until now. This app is positively stellar. I find myself sitting for long periods of time just browsing. Thanks for making such a wonderful app. The icon and interface is designed nicely unlike other free apps, and the content and options are great as well. The ads are anoying but the price of the full ad free version is a bit high. Overall this is a great free app. Keep up the good work.headbanger89

We all must set an example for our children. Do not set out to hurt others. Do not steal your neighbor's bread. Ask yourself if your children would be proud to know what you have done. Wonderful
This app is great. I don't have a bible except for the ones on my phone and was looking for something I could look at daily versus with, without have to sit and search for hours... This app really delivers. Ignore the low ratings, they are from people who didn't really want this app in the first place. I feel it is neccessary to let the atheist know why there are app about God and no app about atheism- it's because God exsist and atheists have not been taught the word so they do not know. Also atheists don't care enough to make an app for what they believe because they don't belive in anything! And with you using the word hell you must belive in something because any atheiest that I have ever ran into or had a convo with let's me know that they don't belive in heaven or hell.
