I paid $7.99 and there's nothing there! It linked me to totally different app that has very little included and asks for $20 to give info. This is fraud.Slugman100

This is a bait and switch program. You pay $11.99 to download the app, which is several years out of date and upon installation immediately wants you to download a new version. The new version does not recognize your $11.99 purchase and wants you to pay for and download the language pack again. This app should be removed from the App Store.
Apple has listed this program as not eligible for a refund, so now I will have the transaction removed by the bank.joekiser
Misleading update, otherwise was great
This app is very helpful as there are not many interactive language learning tools for Icelandic. However it is pricey... Within minutes of paying and downloading the app I was told of a free update and upgrade. I did the upgrade, it created an entirely new app, with only the basics for free and requires me to pay money again!!! The old app now no longer works, so I effectively waisted almost $10. I will continue to use the new app as it is helpful and a great tool, But proceed with caution on the update!Izzy00000

I love utalk I currently have around 7 or 8 utalk apps and I would love to see utalk Kyrgyz, utalk Kazakh, utalk Turkmen, and utalk Tajik Persian! :-)Riverofdarkness
Great app
This is a great app for learning basic words and phrases. My 5 year old son and I both enjoy it. There are several categories of words then you can chose between and easy game or hard game to practice. Worth the $Kjbowling
Good App, need improvements
This app functions well, put could use some improvements in the content. For example, the Icelandic alphabet has several symbols that form a particular sound. The Icelandic alphabet is not even shown, and if it was it would be nice to be able to hear how a certain letter or symbol sounds. The actual words are limited. For instance I think it would be more important, for travelers to learn the words North, South, East, West, Restaurant, etc., which are not included, than the word "Mango" which is.Tim29824

This App is everything it claims. I love the recognition games. They really do help reinforce with both sight and sound. The audio recordings are very good too. Very clear and good pronunciations. I am 1/4 Icelandic and am using this program to brush up on my ancestors native language. Love it!Abe-Froman
