Does what it says

Nice simple clean interface for waking your network machines. Use it for waking my Media NAS if it's needed before its scheduled wake.

Works, easy to use.

Thanks to this app, and a dynamic dns address, I am now able to wake up my iMac remotely. Then I use Jump Desktop to log in and use my desktop from the road.

might be good ..

if I can get it working :-)

Trouble is, I can't get a reply from the developer to figure out what's not working when trying to "wake" over the Internet.

Nice enough interface for a simple one-note utility, but given everything looks correct and I can't get in touch to find out what's not working, I'll hold off on the 5 stars :-)

Perfect

This is a great app with some really useful additional features, such as being able to scan your LAN for all devices.

Why is this a 63mb app?

etherwake, a command line app in Linux that does the exact same thing, is a whopping 11kb; yet, for some reason this is 63mb. What possible justification can there be for that? It's not even a universal app, and there's no real graphics to speak of.

I have no idea how large it was when I first downloaded it in 2010. It has always worked as advertised, though.

Didnโ€™t work for me...

I thought this was working to wake via internetโ€ฆI set up port forwarding on my router as per the instructions but after a day, it stopped waking via internet. It wakes when Iโ€™m on my local network but itโ€™s not worth paying for an app that only saves me a short walk to the office. App seems to work for other reviewers so maybe its just my hardware setup.

Nice App

Works as advertised, easy to setup remote PC, easy to operate.

Does the job

After trying a few WoL apps, this one was the best. All I needed to do was enable WoL in my Bios, open this app, search the network, then select my PC from the list. My PC is in an awkward location, so this enables me to switch the thing on easily.

It could really do with an option for turning the PC off/hibernate. I'm currently using Teamviewer which allows me to remote power down the PC.

A great app

Does what it says on the tin every time. A great app.

Just doesn't work.

Pretty pictures on App Store but the app didn't work. It gave the option to wake the computer but that didn't work. When the computer was awake there was no way I could find to access the option to put the computer to sleep.
