  • Os X lion update won

a little help… after installing Os X lion it won't let my mac to wake up or reboot…not even in local network. one thing let me do is sleep. please a little help if you figure this out
  • Great app

Works great on LAN and over internet. Just make sure the port is open and forwarded to the pc u want to wake.

Pls do update so win pc can be put to sleep.
  • Brilliant app for WOL over Internet

After having no problems setting up WOL through my LAN, setting it up for use through the Internet was the big issue I had been having for weeks. After trying loads of different softwares, opening ports etc, this app actually worked straight off. Even when using 3G it turns on my PC instantly. It's done its job perfectly for me and I can't recommend this app enough. 10/10!

  • Gets job done A+++++

Reboots Mac PowerBook Pro running non server Mac OS 10.6 over internet.
  • Just works, great!

Worked perfect from the very first time.
    (staple app.)
The app adds great utility to the iPhone.
Used to put my machine to sleep after steaming content and too wake for access if needed.
Thank you guys, this app is a great help, and saves me a lot of power too.
  • The perfect companion for itapRDP

Very easy to setup and configure. Works perfectly over LAN and 3G connections.

If the developers ever manage to get the switch off and sleep options working on Window 7 I'll upgrade my review to 5* as it'd be perfect then.
  • Brilliant App.

Set this up in seconds. can now wakeup my home machine (to use RDP or such) via the internet. Does exactly what is says on the tin !
  • Really impressed, easy on PC for me now...

Got this working no problems via the Internet and Internally, using UDP port fowarding on my routers firewall (not sure if this is a security risk or not). The app is great and works fine, tho I would make minor tweaks to the UI some what.

I picked this app because it seems to be the only one that can manage settings for a device when both inside the network (on LAN) and outside (internet); tho it doesn't detect which one to use. Ideally the app should see the IP/Subnet of the active wifi connection and determine that i'm not inside the same LAN as the target device I want to wake up, at the moment I have to select between internet and lan mode.

Also, when sending the magic packet, the device has 'sending...' etc on it's row, this then disapears and goes back to normal. I.e., no success or failure is given to the UI. I would expect a green tick or something saying 'magic packet sent a moment ago...' etc.

When entering a mac address, get 'invalid format' error because I have not typed in the colons ( : ), the UI should really pick this up and enter them for me; mac addresses are hard enough to type as they are.

Like I said, very minor tweaks, works a charm!

  • Works Nice

Would have been great if it was $0.99 instead.
  • Great App

Does exactly what it's supposed to. I am running Windows 7 x86 and have a sagem sky router. Had to configure port forwarding on port 9 but having sorted that I can now remote start my pc from anywhere in to world via my iPhone 4. Of course you need something like LogMeIn to actually make use of your pc, then shut it down normally when you're done. Gave 4 stars as can't shutdown via same app but expect this as an update. Nice work.
