Potassium not listed for all foods

Potassium is not listed for all foods. This app is not useful for a person following a diet for medical reasons (e.g. Renal friendly).

Brilliant app if you have health issues

I have Stage 4 Kidney Disease and need to control Potassium in my diet, while maintaining a high fibre input. I came across this App from a link in a BC Renal Agency website. The App is comprehensive and gives masses of detail. It has really helped me select appropriate foods.

More straightforward that any USA apps

so far This appears to be what I’ve been looking for: objective straightforward the facts that are easily accessible. The USDA references are so much more limited, and seem to promote processed foods. sometimes I just want to compare 85 g of raw beets to 85 g of cooked beets. This looks like the app for me. I have found Canadian publicly funded health related references to be more evidence based.

not useful

This app does not show vitamins, minerals or any other detailed important information.

Just a database

I hoped that the app recorded calorie intake, but it is just a database of nutrients. Overpriced!!!! I wish i could get a refund.

Do not waste your money!!!

Useful!

I'm in the USA but this is useful. Doesn't crash. Bookmarks is very nice.

The search could surely work better. If I try two keywords such as skim milk hardly nothing comes up. Search alone for milk and the list is exhaustive.

Thanks!

Not worth the cost...

I don't use this app because the foods are presented in an endless list and there is no search feature. I would LOVE this app if there was a search feature, if brand names were included AND if the ingredients list was included. I am a celiac and I can't find out from this app if the food contains gluten. Definitely not worth four bucks.

Full Database with Options

I have been looking for an iPhone version of Nutritional Values of all foods. This program has a huge database, you can change the serving size, and it includes many name brand items. It has several levels of displayed information. You can get very detailed and lengthy lists of every known and measured vitamins and minerals.

No-NonSense Nutrition Info

For people that need dietary info this program is a good deal. I need to be on a low-protein diet and this program has the info I need to select foods and make better food choices.
