The app works exactly as it should. I am a little shocked at the large number of offenders in my area. Thanks for putting this info at my fingertips. I think it would be great if you could also include the dates (year) of offenses.BabyBellasMama
Very eye-opening
I had heard about this app and the various sex offender websites, but actually seing red pins all around certain areas definetely makes you wonder. Some of the charges are completely stupid, I can just imagine the DA branding these people as sex offenders when all they needed was a slap on the wrist. Unfortunatley this takes away from using this registry to locate the *truly* dangerous and devious individuals that pose a *real* risk. I would say that a third of the charges for the dots in my neighborhood are in the "innocous - the DA should be fired" category, but the other two thirds are really creeps... So while I disagree on labeling some categories of offenders as sex offenders, this app does do indeed a very nice job in displaying the data it's supposed to display. Glitch Resolved
On Oct. 18 I downchecked this app because it disregarded location-search inquiries and always produced a map of Cupertino, Calif. That glitch has been cured and the app works exactly and fully as advertised. I give it s 5-star rating.abc121644

Excellent, the best application I've bought yet.
My wife wants me to run out and buy her an iphone after she saw this app. Its fast, easy to use and informative. I saw it on TV and the reporter went right up to a sex offenders house using it. As soon as the show was over I was on my iphone buying it. Well worth the price.saktinker
Not shocked...
My only disappointment was that the app moved alil slow, other than that I wasn't shocked by all the offenders in my neighborhood! Actually, I figured there'd be more...

I've never been so creeped out
Wow..... I live in a very small rural town, and this program actually found people my husband & I know, from encountering them threw our business. My husband was as giggly as a school girl with each new person we could see, but I was just creeped. The program is excellent, the pictures are so clear... If you know them... Okay this app is informing and well put together but, well worth 2 dollars. But I live in St. Joseph, Missouri and once I seen all the sex offenders in this city, I gave moving a good thought. So only get this app. If you are ready for harsh truth! God bless.Jeffy08
