i have spent countless time trying to get this to work -- instructions incomplete, and i get directed to a porn site. no support whatsoever from them. unless they can contact me asap i would call this a total pos and dont buy this -- what a waste!!!!!!!!!!!

Avoid if you are purchasing for the "custom PDF rendering" feature
This review relates to the custom PDF rendering feature only as it was my reason for purchase. My brief look at the other capabilities found lots to like. But - it's well known that PDF books do not work well on small screens. If you make the font readable, it usually means a lot of scrolling in all directions. The only way to get around this is to extract the plain-text from the file and display that. That's exactly what i2Reader does. While it makes a valiant effort (and preserves the graphics), the result is often very bad. For example, words are run together or broken, and paragraphs can join onto text-above in odd ways. The books I tried were all technical and therefore had a lot of layout, but these are the very books that are normally hard to read on a small screen. The other issue I had was how to get books into the i2Reader library from my Window PC. There's no help on the developer's site. They only support i2Librarian on OS X. Fortunately I found an easy solution - search the web for "HTTP File Server" aka "HFS" and run that on your PC as required. Use i2Reader's web browser to connect to HFS and download files. Easy! As mentioned earlier, this does appear to be a fine reader in all other ways. I hope the developers will improve the PDF rendering, but it is I'm sure a difficult task as I don't think anyone else has succeeded.

Wonderful program will be you friend for the long time!
It is simply wonderful program with an evil thought out and balanced interfaces ... A set of functions allows you to abandon other bookreaders. Tried once, and I just use it to read books. So many interesting reads made by this program! Thanks!
