    Excellent! Really enjoy it.
  • I think it's awesome! Looking forward to future versions.

    One of my favorite apps.
  • Shows you what you're looking at

When you're not lucky enough to be staring up at the sky with an expert at your shoulder (who can name the objects you're looking at, and point you to the most interesting things) the mobile device seems a logical replacement. This is exactly what this StarMap 3D does.

For me it's the best implementation of a whole bunch of similar apps on the store. I like the visuals, and the compass feature seemed to work well for me. I looked at the screen and there's the Moon and Jupiter at about 50 degrees slightly to my left, look at night sky and there they are. Now I can give a name to all the other stuff I can see. Just what I wanted.

  • Not bad

It's not a bad app for someone who wants a general idea of what's above them. I doubt if it's for the more experienced star watchers, but great for showing the kids what's out there in the sky or just for recreation.... Like the meteor shower info it's pretty accurate but can be intimidating when trying to figure out all the options. Definatly needs a user manual or instructions to help ease of use

  • Good but could be better

I've noticed that the stars and planets aren't where the phone thinks they are. It seems something might be wrong with the compass or something. Plus, I can't find the little dipper on the map, I know where it is in the sky it just doesn't appear on the map. A couple of tweaks and it'll be a 5 star app for sure.

  • 6 STAR App

If you have ever wondered about the stars and planets like I have, you'll buy this app. I immediately went outside to use the app, I find Jupiter, Cassiopeia and the Swan? I'm instantly an astronomer, no sh-t! Great app if ya like the outdoors...and beyond.
