User friendly chm reader
Overall an excellent app that opens chm files quickly and easy to annotate. While a recent "update" crashed the app or halted at the loading screen, the app developer has fixed the issue and now working great.

How Do I register?
I have a book with the message UNREGISTERED copy of CHM but you don't give me anywhere to register or send a support email. Have i done something wrong?
Use it daily
Great app for reading chm files with lot of recent improvements. Would love to see return of completely black background in the Dark Theme that used to be in the old app instead of grayish background currently. It will greatly improve readability and is the only thing holding me from giving a 5 star rating. Thanks!

Best of a not so good bunch
I've been using this app for some time now through various versions.
CHM readers for iOS are generally pretty terrible but this is the one I've had the least problems with.
Occasionally I'd come across a file I couldn't open but this is far less frequent with newer versions of the app. I think the problem lies more with the dodgy files that we usually try to open than inherent app flaws.
Anyway, overall I'm reasonably happy with CHM Reader.

Works like before
This app is working smoothly now.
They Fixed it in version 4.1
I wrote a previous review reflecting poor performance for 4.0.4, but the new version is fixed and gets back the stars it deserves. It is one of the good chm viewers on the market. Althought there are programs that will run chm and pdf, doc, all file types. This really is a great program with lot of features and adjustments.
My only remaining trouble is if they can maintain my notes and highlights as I update to the next vesion when it becomes available, it will be great. Because come to think of it, you read a book or text, highlight reading and update to a nicer updated version and the hightlights are lost. Defeats the purpose of having a file to have read and made extensive notes on that you know will be lost on next update.
I recommended to go pro.

The previous version was better
This new version fixes all the bugs of the previous version, which takes this software back to its original position of being the best CHM reader on the iPAd.
Full document search makes this best CHM reader for ios
The full document search is excellent, fast, and lists all the highlighted words by chapter. As far as I know - it is the only iOS CHM reader that does this.
The reader also allows reasonably quick highlighting, an excellent range of font sizes and layout, and a good contents page. It also remembers the last opened page of each book.
I use this to look through large medical textbooks. A must have.
