Prtg has proved excellent and vital. The iPad app is a great tool for quick checks into the system.
The only product worth buying.
This is the only product in this market that doesn't cost a fortune but actually works and comes with excellent support. A+++
So much for so little
Can't believe how much bang you get with PRTG, even more so when you look at the price and annual renewals.
It's become THE essential tool to monitor a 10-site, 30-server multi-national network. The whole thing installs in what, 3 minutes!! Hasn't skipped a beat in a year, allows full remote-site monitoring and nice customization of sensors.
Seems to take little resources on main and remote probe servers, and there are plenty of choice for sensor types so you can keep the weighty WMI ones to a minimum.
Mobile app lacks finer detail of Netflow sensors (eg Toplists), but does main job nicely. Maps does need more work though, as currently is too laborious to construct them for my liking.

Use it every morning to make sure I'm not heading into the office with everything down.
As good as PRTG Web Edition, well optimised for the iPhone, quick and easy to see if your gong to have a bad day!!!

Broken
The latest update only displays in Potrait mode on my ipad2 (IOS6).
I assume nobody with an ipad actually tested this before releasing it?

Very useful app
This is an extremely useful app to get a quick overview of my networks health in a matter of seconds. The ability to run MySQL queries on a schedule is the real killer feature for me. Gives me all I need to sleep easier at night! Now just needs iPhone 5 support!

PRTG is an amazing program and monitoring tool. We switched from Solarwinds NPM and could not be happier. This app certainly makes it easier to monitor the network and resources from my phone and iPad.
The app needs push notifications even though you get the emails it would be nice to assign a push alert to a different alert tone.
But all in all its worth the purchase if you already own PRTG.
